This isn't the best looking electronic cigarette out there, but I would guess it is the lowest cost one with any kind of money back policy. It works better than expected and short of style (which I understand at this price point) there ar…

Marketed as the “Low cost leader in quality e cigarettes”, Zero Cig comes in a variety of flavors and strengths, clove being my favorite and Jane really liked the watermelon. Each cartridge is advertised as being the equivalent of 30 regular cigarettes.

The vapor cloud produced is very satisfying with little to no effort on the part of the user thanks to Zero Cig’s MaxDRAW technology. The battery life of these products gets a definite commendation on my part, as it usually lasts all day with normal use. The battery itself also comes with a light-up LED tip to enhance the user’s feel of smoking.

ZeroCig offers a number of starter kit options for every consumer as well, so you are able to choose the level you feel most comfortable with. I’ve tried two different Zero Cig starter kits in very different price ranges. Zero Cig’s Express kit comes with just the bare essentials. You get one battery, two cartridges, and a USB charger. This kit is a real steal at only $19.99 so it is a good entry-level vape kit if you just want to see what e-cigs are really about.

I also tried the Premium Starter Kit, which goes for $79.99. This kit was my preferred choice because it has a lot more stuff included. You get 3 batteries, 10 cartridges in your choice of flavors, a carrying case in either black or white, USB charger, wall charger, car charger, and a premium box to store everything in.

One of the first things I noticed when using Zero Cigs was the size. The cartridges are smaller than most brands, which is a unique feature. I thought the cartridges were a little difficult to screw onto the batteries, but it wasn’t a big deal. In my kit, the cartridges were white and my batteries were white. The tip lights up red when you are vaping.

Overall, I felt like the vapor production was good, but it had a very weak throat hit. A lot of people (especially women) prefer a milder throat hit so this would be a good brand for those individuals. The MaxDRAW cartridges were a big improvement over the older Zero Cig cartridges. The flavors are better and they produce a lot more vapor.

I also want to mention another kit that I just recently tried called the Georgie 2.0. This kit is an ego model that is really affordable at $49.99. It comes with a 650mah battery, a 2.4ml tank, a USB charger, and a wall charger. The Georgie 2.0 performed much better than the other ZeroCig kits, even though they were definitely sufficient. This unit gives you a lot more vapor, a stronger throat hit, and more powerful flavor because you are using the tank technology. I also like that you can choose your battery color. They offer black, steel, and pink (which Jane loved!).

Now let’s talk about the cartridges for a minute. You can get ZeroCig cartridges in a bunch of different flavors and I sampled several of them. Your options include Tobacco Original, Tobacco Special Blend, Canadian Tobacco, Menthol Ice, Mocha, Pina Colada, Banana, Strawberry, Chocolate, Clove, and Watermelon. As I mentioned earlier, Clove as my favorite. It tasted just like a clove cigarette.

While ZeroCig claims that their cartridges last as long as 30 cigarettes, I don’t totally agree. In my experience, it was probably closer to 20-25 cigarettes per cartridge, but it really varies and some of the guys that smoke less normally were able to have their e-cigarette last a little longer. It really all depends on how much vapor you draw with each puff, but making sure you get the right nicotine level is also key.

There is a great 30-day money back guarantee with a 100% satisfaction guaranty for each kit sold. One thing to point out, at the price point of under $20, you get only a USB charger and I would recommend adding a wall charger if you are not around a computer much. Wall chargers and car chargers are pretty inexpensive and you will use them frequently!

This is definitely a product that I would recommend for anyone looking for an affordable budget e-cigarette that will perform consistently. It’s definitely a good pick!

I ordered the 2 battery starter kit and have been using Zero’s for about 2 months now. I was attracted to the low start up cost and good ratings. I think they are a great start for someone looking to make the switch to e cigs but the quality and service aren’t there yet. I was a 1/2 to 1 pack a day smoker. 1 battery will usually last all day but the refills…. I have yet to have 2 that lasted the same amount of time and 1 out of every 5 will either leak most of the fluid into my mouth or out altogether. Some refills seem to be only 3/4 filled. And multiple emails to customer service have been left unanswered. I will be switching to Blu or V2 in the near future. Better Q/C on refills and Zero will be a hit.

I have been using the Zerocig Electronic Cigar for almost a year and have ordered replacement cartridges several times. The product is not too bad, but beware the company. I had a snag with my last ordered – the shipping address got screwed up, and I contacted the company for some help. Not only did they have no interest in assisting, they were complete a**holes to my wife on the phone. Their response was basically, “The product got delivered, not our problem”. I’m not sure what a good resolution would have been, maybe a discount on another order, something, but I would at least have expected some concern. Company’s are easy to get along with when things go smoothly, but get ready if you run into an issue with them. You will lose.

This is the first e-cig I’ve purchased so I’ve been on a steep learning curve. I live in Canada, and if I had to start again, I would buy one here. When I was looking, i had not found Canadian suppliers. When I got my Mastercard bill today, I realized ZeroCig did not do the conversion to Canadian funds at the check out, so it ended up costing me $10 more than I initially expected.. Most web sites do this conversion at the time of purchase.

It did not come with a handbook or any other information. Obviously it’s simple to use, but I also purchased 5 refillable cartridges and made a note on my order that I hoped I could buy the e-juice locally. To their credit, ZeroCig sent a bottle of e-juice at no cost, so that was very decent of them. I wasn’t entirely sure how to fill the cartridge but by searching online, I found a video which gave me that information.

The 5 pre-filled cartridges that came with the starter kit didn’t last nearly as long as ZeroCig claimed on its site, not by a long shot. The batteries seem to run out pretty fast, but since I got two in my starter kit, I always have one I can use. I was able to find a local seller of e-juice in my community, so I can use the refillable ones.

Bad customer service, really bad. When I got the product, I had a question about where the e-juice is made so I sent an email. That was 3 weeks ago and I still have not received a reply. There was no information at all about the contents of the juice on the product, either the cartridges or the bottle they sent, and that’s just bad customer service in my view. After having said all that, I’ve not smoked a tobacco cigarette for two weeks now, first time in decades, so I am happy about that. I’m glad I have found Canadian suppliers, so I won’t be going back to ZeroCig.
