Over the past few years, we’ve tried so many e-cigarette kits that we’ve actually lost count. But every once in a while, a new brand emerges from the pack that is really unique and offers something completely different from competitors. That has definitely been the case with NicStick. This company offers a brand new spin on the old e-cigarette experience and we’re excited to share more about the NicStick products we’ve tried.

Out of all the companies we’ve ever reviewed here on ECR, NicStick is the first and only brand that makes the tank cartridge system a standard. They don’t sell the old school e-cigs at all. Their products rely on the tank technology to give you more vapor and a higher quality e-cig experience. If you aren’t familiar with tank systems quite yet, we’ll start this review by giving you a crash course.

While most e-cigarettes use cartridges that come prefilled and ready to screw onto the battery, the tank system is different. There is no filler inside of the cartridge so you fill them with your own e-liquid through a tiny opening. Because there are no filler materials to interfere with the process, you get a much better flavor and usually, a thicker vapor.

If you have never tried tank cartridges before, don’t let the prospect of refilling them freak you out. NicStick includes a user manual that will show you how to fill your tanks step by step. To help you make the leap into NicStick’s line of unique e-cigarettes, we are going to cover two of our favorite products here.

NicStick Ego Clear Express Kit

The first kit was tried was the NicStick Ego Clear Express Kit. This is a bare bones starter kit that includes on your ego clear atomizer and your ego 650mah battery. You will have to buy your own e-liquid separately. The battery in this kit can be recharged 300 times so it’s going to last you for a good while. This kit is budget friendly so it’s a good choice to help you venture into the tank systems and see if you will actually like them.

I really liked that this e-cig has a good safety feature. You have to mash the button five times to get it to come on. Then you mash it again five more times to turn it off. This is to keep it from accidentally turning on in your purse of pocket. It saves your battery life so you don’t have to recharge nearly as often.

The only thing I didn’t like about this kit was the fact that it doesn’t have a wall charger. The USB charger is only about 4 inches long and I just don’t think it’s all that practical. If I was going to use this kit as my regular everyday e-cig, I’d definitely buy the personal charging case or a wall adapter.

Overall, this e-cig was pretty great. It was easy to fill and the clearomizers in the tank were really easy to work with. It has an indicator line to keep you from overfilling and your tank will hold up to 1.5ml of liquid. I filled mine to the line to see if it would leak, but it didn’t. They claim on the box that their atomizers are leak-free and it appears that they were definitely right.

I would say this kit is well above average for an ego model. It’s a more compact version of the ego e-cig so it’s a good stepping stone to help you decide if you like the tank system and e-liquids.

NicStick Cosmo Kit

The second NicStick product that I really liked was the Cosmo Kit. This one is a little smaller and thinner than the Ego system, but it is still thicker than most normal e-cigarettes. It’s really unique from other e-cigs on the market because it utilizes a three-piece design. While that used to be common, we rarely see it anymore and honestly, most of the time I don’t like three-piece units because I think they tend to be more trouble than they are worth. But I have to say, the Cosmo was really easy to assemble and fill and I actually liked it a lot.

I initially thought the Cosmo would put out less vapor than the Ego, but that wasn’t the case at all. Despite its smaller size, it still gave me a good cloud of vapor and a nice throat hit. Honestly, of all the NicStick kits I’ve tried, this one was my favorite. The vapor was just smooth and I loved the easy draw.

So here’s the bottom line on NicStick. This brand isn’t your typical everyday e-cig. They offer cutting edge tank systems with different variations that will suit beginners to advanced vapers. If you are curious about e-liquids and want to give them a try, NicStick would be a really good option to help you see what the tank systems are like.

NicStick offers a wide variety of products to choose from. Their batteries are known for being exceptionally long lasting.
