EonSmoke markets their product as the “long lasting, great tasting electronic cigarette”. I decided the check out some of their electronic cigarettes for myself and see if they really were a good product or just another run of the mill e-cig. Here’s what I found out…

My first impression of EonSmoke was on their website. While the site is easy enough to navigate, it definitely lacks that professional finish those many e-cig sites have. Some of the graphics are a little fuzzy and the web page itself looks like a free blog template. Overall, it just didn’t strike me as exciting or impressive. However, their product selection and forum were intriguing enough that I still wanted to try their e-cig.

I’ll start out by saying that EonSmoke isn’t a bad brand. They actually have a lot of potential and their vapor level, in particular, was really satisfying. However, I did notice a few things that gave me pause. But let’s back up and look at what is included in the EonSmoke kit.

They have four starter kits to choose from ranging from $29.95 to $109.99. I tried the EonSmoke Premium Kit that sells for $79.95. This kit includes two rechargeable batteries, a wall charger, USB charger, and six flavored nicotine cartridges. For a limited time, EonSmoke is offering five extra cartridges as a free bonus gift when you purchase this kit. They have a pretty wide range of nicotine strengths with selections going from 0mg to 30 mg, which is really high. They also have plenty of flavors to choose from including: apple, cherry, chocolate, coffee, mango, menthol, mint, mojito, president, sands, strawberry, tobacco, vanilla, wrangler, grape mint, and frost.

When my kit arrived, it came in the typical flip top magnetic box. Right away, I noticed a certificate of inspection and a user manual. I flipped through the manual and it’s pretty basic information: what’s included in the kit, how to assemble and use the e-cig, and standard precautions. I did really like that EonSmoke listed specifications of the e-cig itself with information like the battery voltage and the dimensions.

On the downside, there were several spelling errors that immediately caught my eye. While I’m certainly not going to refuse a product because of a spelling issue, it does make the product feel a little cheap when the manual has obvious spelling errors that could have easily been corrected.

There was also a membership card to the EonSmoke Club in my kit. This little card gives a quick overview of the e-cig with information about the ingredients and how it works. It also states that the e-cigarette does not contain tobacco and that it does not emit smoke as a cigarette would, so it is therefore not subject to any non-smoking laws or bans. The idea here is that if someone gives you a hard time for using your EonSmoke in public, you hand them the card and save yourself the time and hassle of explaining your e-cig.

In theory, it is great, but there was a problem. The card instructs the reader to contact EonSmoke with any questions regarding the product or legality of e-cig use, but there is no contact information listed. It’s just not likely that an annoyed waitress or bartender is going to take time to google EonSmoke to find this information in a pinch. So they should really include that on the card.

The e-cig comes fully assembled. There is a long battery and a short battery included in the kit as well as a box labeled as disposable “atomizers” which are really cartomizers. It might sound like I’m just being a little picky, but this was annoying to me. EonSmoke should label their product correctly. The cartridges in that box did contain atomizers, but they were not just atomizers. They were also nicotine cartridges, so the proper name would be atomizers. Okay, I’m moving off my soapbox.

Each cartridge is in a plastic bag with two rubber tips and the flavor is clearly printed on it. That’s a nice touch because you can quickly identify which flavor is which when you are getting ready to use your e-cig. There is no expiration date listed on the cartridges, which isn’t too great because people need to know how long it would be good to use. For someone who keeps a lot of cartridges stocked up, expiration dates are a really important piece of information.

In terms of appearance, the EonSmoke has a white battery and I used a tan tobacco flavor cartridge so it actually was somewhat similar to the look of an analog cigarette. There was nothing really extraordinary about the look of the EonSmoke, but I have no complaints on appearance. It was just a typical looking e-cigarette.

The EonSmoke has a really strong throat hit so it will be perfect for heavier smokers. If you really enjoy a strong throat hit, you’re going to love this one. Plus, you can opt for the 30mg nicotine content and get a killer nicotine hit each time you vape. The flavor of my cartridge was reminiscent of a sweet tobacco, which is typical for any China-made e-liquid. It tasted okay, but wasn’t really extraordinary in any way. The vapor production is the most impressive aspect of this e-cigarette. It is consistently full and very satisfying. I was pleasantly surprised by how the EonSmoke performed in terms of vapor production.

Overall, I felt like EonSmoke was average. They have lots of positives, but a few drawbacks that could be easily fixed. While the vapor is thick and the flavor options are good, they could improve with little touches like adding expiration dates or correcting spelling errors in their user manual. Overall, EonSmoke is a solid e-cigarette, but they need to make a few tweaks to make it a really high quality electronic cigarette.

EonSmoke has a wide variety of kits for you to choose from. They also offer cartridges in a multitude of flavors, giving you plenty of options to choose from.
