Blu Cigs is one of the hottest brands on the market right now and they offer some of the most cutting edge features and designs. I’ve heard Blu called the “Apple” of e-cigarettes. They are always pushing the envelope and coming out with some crazy new feature that makes the vaping experience better than ever. Blu ecigs are available in stores all over the United States, but you will get the best price if you buy the starter kits and cartridges online. In fact, they are typically a lot more expensive at convenience stores.

Blu Premium Pack

Now let’s talk about some details. I recently tried the Blu Premium Pack, which sells for $79.95. It is the most popular starter kit that Blu offers and it comes in either black or white. The kit includes a premium e-cig charger pack with social features, 2 batteries, 1 wall charger, a USB charger, and a 5-pack of cartridges in the strength and flavor of your choice.

The Premium Pack comes in a package that looks like an iphone box. It’s really nicely packaged and you realize instantly that this is a brand that cares about even the tiniest details.

Right away, I noticed that the Blu batteries are tiny so the full e-cig is about the length of an actual cigarette. It’s much smaller than most ecigs I tried and I think that’s a feature that most smokers will find attractive.

The charger pack was probably my favorite aspect of the Premium kit. To work the social feature, you just push a button to turn it on. If you get close to another Blu Cig user with a social pack, your pack with light up and vibrate like crazy. It’s kind of a cool conversation starter and will definitely help you connect with other vapers if you are out in a bar or in a big crowd.

When you put the battery in the premium pack, it doesn’t screw in or anything. You just place it on the charging slot. Then you close the lid and it blinks to show you that your battery is charging. Just keep in mind that there will be a couple seconds of delay before that light comes on to let you know it’s charging.

I also tried the Blu Premium 100 Kit, which sales for $89.95. It comes with a Premium100 pack with social features, 2 batteries, a wall charger, a USB charger, and a five pack of cartridges in your choice of flavor and nicotine strength. This kit is a great option if you want batteries that last a little longer.

Blu Cartridge Options

You can get refill cartridges in seven flavors: Vivid Vanilla, Cherry Crush, Magnificent Menthol, Classic Tobacco, Java Jolt, Pina Colada, and Peach Schnapps. Nicotine strengths range from zero nicotine to high (13-16mg). Each cartridge has a little symbol on the side to mark the flavor.

As I mentioned earlier, a lot of our team members liked the Java Jolt. It is a less intense coffee flavor and it has really decent vapor production. My personal favorite was the Cherry Crush. It is a completely unique cherry flavor and it’s actually the best cherry e-cig I’ve ever tried. It’s just very fresh and sweet. Blu’s tobacco flavor gives you a rich, deep tobacco taste and it kind of grows on you the more you use it. It’s more of a nonflavored tobacco like the discount brands that a lot of smokers use so it’s a good transitional flavor for people that are just trying to switch over to e-cigs. The tobacco flavor definitely gives off more vapor than any of Blu’s other flavor options. My least favorite was the Magnificent Menthol. It gave me a good amount of vapor, but it had to be primed a lot. Plus it had no throat hit and the flavor was just way too mild.

The Bottom Line on Blu Cigs

Overall, Blu is a great brand that is definitely a favorite for many e-cig users. However, it definitely doesn’t perform as well as V2 Cigs. Still I would say this is a decent option. Just make sure you buy your Blu kits online to save money!

    I have tried several brands over the last few months. I happened to be on the road without my usual brand so I stopped by the store and bought the Blu. I’m sorry to say I’m surprised these things have any positive reviews. The batteries last about 25 puffs if I’m lucky and the cartridges fare no better. This is by far the shortest battery life I have experienced. I’m back to my regular brand (V2) which last hours longer than the Blu’s. I was a half pack a day smoker for years so I’m not chain smoking these things. The exaggerated claims for these things mystify me. There are much better brands out there folks, don’t be swayed by the convenience of buying them at your local store. Most of the other brands you need to order online but believe me, they are worth the wait.

    I was not 100% on board with the e cig when I first heard about them. I chose to try Blu, and I really love the flavor of the menthol, and that I can ‘smoke’ pretty much where ever I want to. The need for a real cigarette has gone away pretty much, and I sure notice a difference with my cough. Anyone who is interested in even trying to quit smoking, should think about trying Blu. I also want to say that I have encountered excellent customer service, like others have.

    I chose Blu as they are available everywhere. I bought the starter kit at gas station and did not save the receipt unfortunately. The flavor seems to change after the first 25 pulls. Cherry seems to be the best so far.

    The only thing that I really don’t like about these is the battery life and the charger pack. Mine worked great for about 3 weeks, then the problems started. The batteries would only last about 2 hours. The charger pack would only charge twice without being recharged. I charged the pack in the car for 5 hours and still have the same result. Now one battery is bad and will not recharge, just leaves the blue light on all of the time. Blu will not replace without the sales receipt. Very disappointed about this. The flavor cartridges only last a half a day. So it costs more that the real thing. Research carefully before investing in Blu.

    The battery life of the cartridges is terrible. Only last about 2 hours.

    I have had my kit for only two months and the cartridges need charging after only 2 hours of use. When I first got them they would last all day.
    Would not buy these again.

    I purchased the Menthol, No nicotine based on earlier reviews. I don’t care about fashionable ecigs which this product concentrates on – lots of “pretty” box, “pretty” ecig, “pretty” cartridge, etc, but taste – nothing pretty there!. The “menthol, no nicotine” flavor/taste was like burnt rubber – awful, awful.

    I tried three other brands before blu (one is on the top 25 list on this site…) and I wish I had tried blu FIRST! They have EXCELLENT customer service that you can get in touch with any day & at anytime by phone or through the chat on their site. I purchased the blu Premium 100 starter kit and three additional packs of cartridges and got points that I can use towards future purchases (or even free product with sufficient points!) They even give you free UPS shipping with orders just totaling $100.00. With such a great product at fair prices and EXCELLENT customer service, blu should be at the #1 spot on this list in my opinion.

    I guess I must be spoiled rotten as I tried a disposable Blu rather than my normal Green Smoke. I love my menthol Green Smokes, but I have to buy them online. Blu is sold in stores so it would be way more convenient. The taste of the menthol Blu is bleu. It tastes somewhere between vanilla, tobacco, and vegetable oil. I think I will put up with the hassle of buying my Green Smokes online.

    I kept seeing info about Blu all over TV and hearing it on the radio for months. My mom has begged me to stop smoking forever but it’s a habit I started in the military and I just can’t kick it. So I figured Blu might be a good alternative because it’s at least tobacco free. I tried Blu for the first time yesterday and while it’s still early, so far I’m a big fan. The vapor is thick like real cigarette smoke and honestly, it tastes better than regular cigarettes. So far, I really like it.

    Ordered several boxes of medium strength magnificent menthol – flavor is more like the vanilla. Company will not take back due to it being a “consumable” and subject to tampering. Did not offer replacement or refund or anything. Simply told us to rub cartridge in hands to warm up and thump it on the table to improve the flavor. How does this change vanilla to menthol? Your guess is as good as mine!!!!!

    I first tried Blu Cig when I saw it in a service station while buying gas. I’d seen the commercials on TV and thought I’d try a disposable. I bought the Menthol and liked it. The vapor was really really thick. So I ordered a kit and I’m vaping my Blu right now. It has the thickest vapor hands down. It just lingers. I don’t miss my old cigs at all and I plan to stick with Blu from here on out.

    have been using my blu for about 6 weeks and only have 1 bad thingto say. one of the batteries from the starter kit will not do anything but keep the blu light at the end lit. won,t heat or draw or anything. so did I make a mistake in getting them? for what they cost they should work if kept charged, right?

    I purchased the original starter kit for 59.99 from a local gas station, Circle K. Great taste, but battery life isn’t very good. Mine is about the size of a short analog cig so I guess that’s to be expected. The cartridges run about 16 dollars for 5. My problem with that is it seems like a cartridge is really only equal to a half a pack. So that is maybe 3 packs of real cigs, which in my brand of Marlboro Blacks Menthol Special Blend, and they cost about $4 with tax in my area. So it’s $12 for analogs vs $16 for Blu. The pack battery pack charger does not charge 6 times either, more like 3 or 4. I also got much more vapor with the disposables, and I prefer a thicker vapor. So great taste, bad battery life, cost too much in the long run, and not enough vapor. doing more research now and I will either get a mod or a V2 manual next. As far as finding an ECig in your local store however, Blu seems to be the best one. Take your time and do some research before sinking your money in Blu, or get one until you can decide what to order online. NJoy is the first one I tried, was ok but then the cartridge got so hot a hole formed in the cartridge, tasting plastic which can kill you. STAY AWAY from the really cheap ecigs and read through this site’s top picks.

    I first bought BLU cigs about 2 months ago at Walgreens. I was impressed so much that I went to their website and bought the premium in white. I had noticed that the battery life was not great on the black starter kit from Walgreens and just thought it was because it was the “standard” and it had been improved with the new premium. Not so, the battery life truly sucks. I get about 30 puffs on a battery before it needs charging. I juggle 4 batteries and I am still left with a 4 charging at times.
    Second, the CARTOMIZERS do not work more than 50% of the time. Many are leaking or do not work at all or stop working after a few pulls. I often go through a 5 pack of cartomizers a day and when I smoked regular cigarettes I smoked only a pack a day. Each cartomizer is supposed to last the equivalent of a pack of cigarettes. That would mean that I now smoke 5 pack of cigarettes a day, not. The cartomizers taste burnt after about 40 to 50 pulls. With a fresh battery and a new cartomizer, the pull, taste and vapor is great but slowly diminishes after 30 pulls. I opened a pack of cartomizers and found 2 leaking a brown liquid into my mouth when I pulled on it, realized it was nicotine which made me dizzy, I quickly threw them in the trash. The quality control is not good at all.
    The customer service seems to be good but the hassle of returning a product is not worth the trouble plus that don’t accept cartomizers for return once opened. Besides the battery life sucking and the cartomizers not working most of the time, everything else, (the returnable stuff), works OK
    I had been smoking for 38 years and I have tried quitting many times over the years and Blu Cigs did assist me in quitting, (now more that 2 months cigarette free), so I must give credit where credit is due. I would love the product if it were not for 2 problems and that is battery life, (about 15 to 20 minutes use), and cartomizer quality, ( 3 out of every 5 actually work properly). I have used close to 400 cartomizers so far and I love the flavor and the size and look of Blu Cigs but not the build quality. I am now starting to look at the competition and do a bit of research because the cartomizers are expensive and I feel like I am wasting money for every cartomizer that I throw away because it does not work or taste burnt or is leaking. I gave 3 stars for great shipping, customer service and great flavor. I took away 2 stars for poor battery life and poor quality cartomizers.

    No complaints except for one….have yet to have a battery that lasted more than 3 months. At $12 a piece, I suppose they can afford to replace them frequently under their 1 year warranty, if people want to go to the hassle of sending them back all of the time.

    Blu is a good product — WHEN/IF you can get it. I was a customer for over 2 years, have lost track of how many times menthol cartridges were out of stock or “lost” in shipping. Then they came out with a new charging case – worked great for 3 months, then not so much — tried to order a 2nd one so I could have one to use while using the warranty to send back to original, only to find out that the only way to get it is to buy a complete extra starter kit ($89 !!!), called, and was told they “hope” to have individual ones available “soon” — same answer I’ve recieved all too many times when they’re out of the menthol products. Really a shame because when you can get a good pack & good cartridges it’s great — but 2 years with too many problems —- time to find another brand!!!

    I had been smoking off and mostly on for 24 years and like many smokers I felt very self conscience about my smoking not wanting to offend anyone or smoke around non-smokers and children. It also felt very confined as the non-smoking bans forced smokers into uncomfortable “smoking sections” Anyone having to smoke in a designated airport smoking room should understand. I was moving into a new apartment, wanting to live healthier and hate the smell of smoke in my clothes and hair. My husband doesn’t smoke but he put up with mine. I needed to make a change for our lungs and hearts and started researching those e-cigarettes I had heard about. I found and tried my first disposable BLU classic tobacco e-cig which I was able to procure at the local Sheetz gas station, it lasted me 4 days and the next week I was buying the starter kit at Wal-green’s. They didn’t have the Premium pack but I was still testing and for the price I didn’t mind. My last pack of tobacco cigarettes were finished the week after I got my starter pack in June 2012 and I haven’t bought another pack since. I like that I can get a low dose or non-nicotine cartridges. Peach, Pina Colada, and Java Jolt have been my favorite and if any smell at all escapes while I’m vaping it is pleasant for my husband, we are also glad he doesn’t have to deal with my smelling of smoke, kissing is more fun now and I am less self conscience about my breath. I don’t have to wash my hair everyday. I haven’t felt the need to try any other brand although I might if it appealed to my fashion sense, all in all the Blu e-cig is very fashionable and functional, I have ordered from the website as the flavors I like aren’t available in the stores yet *hint hint* and didn’t have a problem although sometimes I think the cartridges die out before they should. They do take a little getting used to smoking, I liken it to smoking a pipe where you take a couple drags then set it down, it is also a nice feature that the light blinks rapidly to tell yoou to take a break if you puff too many times in a minute. Good quality for my first kit, I did order another battery so I have 3 so I can always have 1 charged at all times.

    I have not been treated more unfairly by a company than I was treated by Blu. They claim to have a 30 day guarantee on their products but there is no guarantee on the filters whatsoever, even when customer service tells you that they can replace unopened filters, then you will get an email saying no exchange. They caused my bank account to overdraft by waiting so long to take out the funds, claiming that the item was out of stock and that I was notified, which I was not. They refused to do anything about anything and except drop me as a customer. Very rude, very unfair, and now I am out over $170.00. Terrible company and I hope they go under, as I am sure they will recieve many other bad reviews because they just do not care about their customers and that is a fact!!!

    2days after Xmas 2011 i had to make an emergency appointment with my doc because I had developed a lung infection so severe that I had symtoms of oxygen deprivation. I hav a history of pneumonia & feared that my vaccination had failed to protect me. X-rays found no pneumonia but revealed instead such severe & extensive damage from smoking that while it was a common chest cold diagnosis I was prescribed 10 days of the same antibiotic used to treat anthrax. Apparently the vaccine isn’t a 100% protection from pneumonia & if I did catch it I would require immediate hospitalization. I hav tried everything to quit for years & failed repeatedly. I had never taken ecigs seriously because the products I had encountered were costly & only available by Internet. At a walgreens about to buy more cigarettes I took a look at the e- figs. They had 2 brands on the shelf blu & another. I chose to try the blu disposable because on the same shelf was a reasonably priced blu starter kit & refill cartomizers in a few flavors. The disposable menthol blu tasted nothing like the real thing but even better. I puffed on it for a full day and enjoyed it more than tobacco because if i hit it just right I can get my nicotine fix in 2-3 power hits. I bought the starter kit the next day & when I opened it was very impressed with the quality components with the black batteries & blu lights. The pack shaped battery charger is such a good system that I offer my condolence to any one using the less convent brands. Having replacement cartomizers in 4 great flavors available at every walgreens in the Denver metro area ensures that I never have to deal with online orders, shipping costs or waiting for deliveries. I never woulda put up with that to get my tobacco cigs. Since my first experimental draw on the disposable I have been so satisfied with blucigs that I have not taken a single puff of tobacco in over 3 1/2 months even though my fiancé continues to smoke tobacco cigs right next to me whenever we r together. I have read complaints from others about the battery life and agree that I have to change & charge more often than i would like to but the pack charger has one ready usually when I need it. That said I would still like a longer battery life anyway & am about to buy their blucig premium 100 kit which has bigger batteries with matching pack charger & cartomizers all of which r of similar proportions to 100 size tobacco cigs. Their premium kits also hav much more advanced features in the premium pack charger like charge status indicators for the battery & the pack. The lack of these charge indicators is the only problem I hav with the standard pack. My issue with the batteries is that because they’re automatic and when I turn up the bass in my car the way I like it the batteries turn on and stay on so long that the cartomizers will get painfully hot and taste terrible for the rest of it’s shortened life. I went back to my doc after using blucigs for three months to test my lung function which is dramatically improved. My doc says a pneumonia or tb infection could still be life threatening until my lungs heal more, but because of blu the healing is beginning. I’v been researching all the other brands willing to invest in the best of the best to save my life. I havn’t found anything else that that looks more capable of giving me what I want in an e-cig other than the premium kits from blu which I will be purchasing next paycheck despite their premium price.

    Okay…i bought the starter kit last night at Walgreens. it was either that or i was going to buy a pack of smokes. i didnt want to do that as im determined to quit. I love the size of the Blu e-cig. Small and convenient and descrete actually. Looks like your holding a pen to your mouth. The vapor is amazing. Puts out tons of vapor ! The charger pack is so convenient as well. I love everything about it except one thing….The flavors. I would swear that no matter what flavor i try, they all taste like coffee ! I simply have to know if anyone else is having this problem. Cherry crush taste like cherry coffee. Regular tobacco taste like coffee. They all taste like coffee ! Why is that? I ordered some e-juice in diferent flavors. Some without nicotine and some with a very low amount of nicotine andc i plan to refill my cartridges myself with flavors i can enjoy. I have never been a fan of coffee and i hate to say it, i feel like im constantly smoking coffee and its seriously bothering me. Please let me know if you have this same experience. I feel like im standing alone on this one and ive always had a very sensitive taster. Other than the flavors, so far, the Blu e-cig is excellent.

    The easiest way to refill a blank cartomizer is to take our set of long tweezers and very, very carefully, pry off the white (or black) “O” ring on the mouthpiece. Once that is off, then you are able to use our Flex-Tip Cartridge Needle to fill the empty cartomizer, and then just press the “O” ring back onto the mouthpiece. And you’re all set! Do note that cartomizers are not meant to be refilled more than a few times as they use a much lower quality atomizer. I do hope that helps

    Need a good throat hit? Tap the led on a table lightly with the cartrige hitting the table not the the light on the end of the ecig. Then cover the holes where the cartridge screws in at and then take a slow drag on it. If you use the menthol cartridge you will get a great throat hit.

    I just got my starter pack in the mail today and I ordered 2 packs (5cartriges in each), of each flavor they have..this way I wont run out and can re-order long before I do. Since Ive already tried the disposable blue there was nothing to think about except the flavors. They have an excellent product and the vapor is much more in the starter packs than the disposable cigs… Since I can be a heavy smoker at times, I purchase one cartridge of non nicotine cherry and so What I do is take a few puffs of the nicotine until I’m satisfied and then I replace that cartridge with cherry non nicotine. That way I can vape as much as I want too without the fear of getting too much nicotine which will make you sick for awhile…

    I have had my Blu’s for over a month. I have smoked a couple times at a party, but never will smoke real cigs. anymore. Quitting is hard, and even if you have a blu, there will be urges, so don’t be too disappointed in yourself if you smoke, just don’t go back!
    Anyways, once I received my pack, after much research, I was hooked. I got the cherry, coffee, vanilla, and regular. The vanilla is strong/sweet, which is okay if your in the mood for a hooka. Cherry is not as potent, and in my opinion, the best flavor you have. Coffee didn’t hit well nor did it seem to last long. I don’t like menthol, and I didn’t really mind the tobacco flavor either way.
    I did have issues with the batteries. One was constantly hitting on the cartrige (which ticked me off b/c it ruined a whole one), another battery just didn’t work after one charge. One was replaced with no issues, and am waiting for my other battery to be replaced. I wish the charge would last a bit longer on the battery, and I may have to have the case replaced, as it seems to not charge all the time, at least not without ‘jiggling’ the battery a bit.
    Please Blu, I have referred a couple of my friends who just received their kits, and they love it too…so stop charging so much for shipping, its not that expensive for you to ship them.

    They’re great! Except… they don’t last very long (or at least the 5 or 6 disposable ones I’ve used). I tested it with a friend, whenever he went out to smoke (real cigarettes) I followed with my e-cig. When the e-cig died, he still had about 5 real ones left in his pack.

    I got mine from a store near by in the quit smoking area meijer. This is very nice when i need to refill all though right now they only know 1 flavor classic tobacco. The disposables along with the kit was which there everything that was mentioned above. So far I am very happy with the product and they stilll continue to improve on it. If you’re not sure I would buy a disposable 1 first as i did. I have also noticed that my breathing has improved. These could help save alot of people.

    To anyone out there that is on the fence about wanting to stop smoking, or should I say wanting to vape instead of smoking. First I don’t work for the company I just am a happy customer wanting to share with you my experience. I want to share why I went wtih Blu and why it is something I am very sincere about. This company makes their cartridges in the USA. They use safe ingredients, they are like you really are smoking they are light and small and they come with a case to hold the batteries in. I have been using them now for a little while and I have to say they changed my life. I have had to call customer service many times because i have had a hard time understanding certain things due to my illness. No matter how many times I have called no matter how many time I have asked the same questions the reps are always kind to me. I know it is not easy to answer calls all day sometimes the same questions over and over again. Yet they always remain calm and nice and always willing to make things right. Every company may have some issues and that is okay as everyone will learn from things that go wrong. My experience with Blu has been a wonderful one so far and I feel will always be. I am a true Blu user for life. My advice is there are many companies out there, but I believe with all my heart this is the best one!!! So if you are thinking about going with an e-cig run to Blu and you will not regret it. My mom after smoking for 50 years saw my kit and she ordered on for herself and loves Blu and is glad she is with them as well. Again, I’m not an employee. Trust me, just a happy satisfied customer wanting to spread the word that Blu is the right choice and is number 1 in my and my family’s book.     Ive had the blu for awhile, i first got it when it was a 3 piece, i smoked 5 packs of 5 out of it and the atomizers fried. so i started smoking cigs again. i just ordered 4 cartimizers (atomizer/cartridge) and excited to get back to smoking my blu. should be here today, im waiting like a vulture!

    shipment was fast, blu cig is small in size which is great, battery life is poor will last you only 2 days. The charging case given is awesome and convenient carrying case also. Vapor produce is okay not the most but good enough. Tabacco taste isn’t as good as I wanted but just okay.
    Overall they get an average score
    If I was told to pay more and you get more and would in a heart beat
    Trying to quit cigarettes should not have a money value associated
    E cigs is my only shot at actually quitting

    I found out about this product after I purchased another e-cig. I was having dinner and telling my waiter what we did that we were stopping smoking real cigs. He pulled out this little device called blu. He said Elaine show me yours. So I did and he sold me it was light looked and felt like a real cig and he said he hasn’t had a real cig in over 6 months. That night I came home and ordered blu. Customer service was wonderful i got my order in 5 days and I have been so happy since, it looks feels and tastes like a real smoke but with no toxins. They have a fantastic product and now my mom just saw my kit and I ordered her one. My husband is still with the other e-cig as he likes the heavy part of the e-cig. By far this is the best company product out there. I”m hooked and no longer feel guilty for having my cig when i’m stressed etc. Thank you blu for your product and customer service

    I have had these Blu e-cigs for about a week now, as I wanted to thoroughly test them before giving a detailed review. I love them, as many of people have said, shipping is slow if you go with the free method, and expensive if you choose the other routes. So far I have tried the Magnificent Menthol flavor, and it’s great. I have tried Vapor King e-cigs, Vapor 4 lyfe e-cigs, and green smoke disposables, and have been disappointed with them all. Especially the vapor king models. I must have taken every single battery I bought back to exchange for a different one (about 6 times). The absolute ONLY complaint I have for the Blu cigs is I wish they would come with a high nicotine content option. See Vapor 4 Lyfe e-cigs came with a 36mg nicotine option which was the only nice thing about that company. Over all, I am very satisfied with Blu. I have actually ordered a second starter kit for my girlfriend, who also loves the product. Yes the battery life is a little low, but with that portable charger, it really isnt a problem for me. All in all, I have more energy since my switch from camel menthols to Blu cigs. I also sleep better too. I strongly stand by these e-cigs, and i recommend them to anyone looking for a one stop online store for a safer smoking alternative.

    I had recently discovered my girlfriend had a smoking addiction and was very embarrassed about it. she’s not a heavy smoker, but when stressed its something she often turns to, like a coping mechanism. she tried to hide it from me because her past boyfriends have always yelled at her about it. so when I found out I initially though of ways to help her in those moments of weakness and not make her feel bad about her addiction. I first looked into e-cigs because it was so unique to patches or gum. it had a genuine feel of smoking.

    ok long story short, I went to the local smoke shop and bought a blu tip disposable for her to try and see if she likes it.it was $12 and only came only in high nic. levels.I had no other brands to compair it to as the shop only sold blu brand products. the problems she had where: 1. it was really big and heavy and is difficult to hold like a normal smoke, 2. it didn’t really taste like the menthol she was used to, 3.it was too high in nic and made her light headed, she was used to smoking lights and was never a very heavy smoker. but after trying it, she said she could see herself using it.

    I then bought the kit. that solved a few of the problems that she had with the disposable. it was much smaller and easier to hold.I had also purchased the low nic cartrages.( even though they only come with high ones in the kit, the smoke shop allowed me to trade the variety pack for one regular pack they had in stock.) the ease of draw is better with the real kit vs the disposable also. so my opinion the disposable is kinda a waste of money for most people, but it will give you an idea if its something you could feel comfortable using before you invest a lot of money in an expensive kit.

    only other complaint I had was the color. the smoke shop carried this in black only. their point of view is it creates less confusion ans does not look like a real cigarette when using in public. but what I wanted was a realistic looking e-cig that would help her relate it to the actual cigarettes she was used to smoking. I could have ordered the white pack online, but it just seemed more convenient to buy it locally so she could use it right away.

    overall I’m pleased with the product from my standpoint and I will ask her how she likes it, and if it has prevented her from buying another pack of cigarettes.

    Shipments are ridiculously SLOW! Customer Service people don’t seem to care much when unhappy, very passive in maintaining customers loyalty and happiness in product. Battery’s charge fairly quickly BUT last just the same, they DO NOT last. You need at least 3 batteries in a day to keep going, so you always have one charged. It’s a constant to be charging these batteries, which is a pain!

    This was the first ONLINE e-cig that I tried after using an e-cig purchased at a local store. I ordered the menthol flavor. It was shipped quickly. I thought the kit was impressive, and the cig is the exact size of a king size regular cigarette. However, the menthol flavor tastes NOTHING like a menthol cigarette. One other quirk I noticed was if you jostle the battery it lights up on the tip. When I e-mailed about the flavor question I received a quick response from the company. If you don’t want menthol, I would give them a try, you can always return it if it isn’t for you, which is what I did. I received a credit soon after they got it. BLU seems like a good company, just didn’t care for the flavor.

    I have been smoking since i was 13 years old, and am 45 now. I have tried everything to quite. I have tried the gum, patches, ziban, lozenges, hypnotism, and even those little filter tips that reduce the nicotine you inhale. Tried it all. And i have never in my life been without cigarettes. Then i heard about E-Cigs. So i spent almost two full days reserching them.
    And too my suprise, i walked into my local grocery store, which had just set up a Blucigs display. So i purchased the starter kit.(in black) I brought it home and charged the batteries. When i took my first drag, i could not beleive it. It was so much like a tabacco cigarette. So to make a long story short, I have not had a tabacco cig in almost a week and a half, which is the longest i have ever gone with out smokes. As far as the Blucigs. I found them to be easy to set up and graet to use. the taste could be a little stronger, but it does not take long to get use to the new taste. I wish the store had a better selction of accessories for it. But over all theres no way i would give my blu up…
    Thanks for making a truely graet product. Also i can not comment on customer service or shipment speed. But if it is as good as the product they sell, I have no doudt it is first rate also. I give blucigs 5 stars.

    The Best way i found to get the throat hit involves two things. 1) Tap the cig LED down on a table to get the liquid to the front of the atomizer. 2) Put your fingers over the holes where the cartridge screw in and take a long slow drag to heat up the atomizer.

    The “throat hit” sensation comes from the heat when you burn actual tobacco. You can emulate it in an E-cig with a good flavor and a little bit of heat.

    As far as the blu product goes i’m pretty happy. Charging the pack is a little touchy for me. I plan on cracking open my expended cartridges and adding more juice and paying for new “cartomizers” only when the old ones become unservicable

    This was the 4th company I bought from as I switched from The Safe Cig to Blu Cigs because Blu Cigs doesn’t have PG in their nicotine solution. I have to say, it’s pretty fancy stuff. The model is very small, sleek, and stylish and I like how the container holds all of your cartridges and a full cig as well as charge the battery. The cartriges actually smell like their flavor and taste like their flavor instead of warm, musty air. And there are actually more than just a few flavors. The reason why the shipping was fast was because I paid for it. If you choose free shipping, then you have to expect for them to take their sweet old time. Produces plenty of vapor. The batteries are very sensitive though as they will turn on on their own, so it’s important you keep it safe or in the container. I think I will be sticking with these from now on.

    Love the product but VERY disappointed with shipping time ( they were ok for first initial stater pack) but been waiting over a week for my refill order, when u are out that is a very long time to wait!! On top of that the shipment options, if u want to get them earlier is ridiculously expensive over $50 for 2 day.. This is causing me to look elsewhere. Other than that and only 4 flavors to choose from ( other sites offer many more) it’s a great product.

    I ordered a blu cig starter kit in black this past Wednesday. I just received it today (Saturday). I was happy to see it in the mail after only 3 days because I had read some horror stories about blu cig shipping. Everything came as promised. I love the look of blu… it’s so much smaller than other e-cigs I’ve used. I only have one complaint so far… I ordered menthol and I see tons of vapor, but I feel no throat hit of nicotine. I also ordered cherry and I feel a slight throat hit with those. Am I doing something wrong? I’ve tried dragging regularly, and I’ve also tried dragging long and slow… no luck. The throat hit is the part of a cigarette that I crave… I hope it gets better. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks fellow blu smokers.

    My husband and I ordered the Blu electronic cigarette about 3 months ago. We wanted to quit smoking and had decided to use nicotine patches but needed something to help with the cravings to puff on a cigarette. We ordered the Blu menthol and cherry burst non nicotine cartridges to use along with our patches. The Blu Cig produces plenty of vapor. You get the sensation that you are actually smoking, without the slight burn of an actual cigarette. It definately works for the craving to inhale and exhale smoke. We ended up only needing the nicotine patches for a little over a week. We have not used any nicotine patches at for about 2 months now. Whenever we get the craving for a cigarette we use our Blu Cig with the non nicotine cartridges and it is working perfectly, even in situations when you really crave a real cigarette, i.e. when we have a drink, after you eat a big meal, with coffee or out with friends that smoke. The Blu Cig has completely helped with the cravings. We have quit before and always went back to smoking, even after more than a year of no smoking. With the Blu Cigarette, I don’t think that we will ever need to pick up a real cigarette again. We will continue to keep a Blu E Cig onhand so we don’t go back to smoking. We never did have to deal with customer service because we just ordered it online without using customer service. So we have no idea how good their customer service department is. As far as shipping goes, I do wish they had the option for faster shipping. It takes about a week to receive each shipment.

    I guess I should mention upfront, that my partner has been smoking for about 6 years. I’ve been with him for almost 2, Can’t STAND the smoke breath or such lol. It makes me cough, It makes my car STINK like high hell. And I don’t let him smoke in the apartment. He’s also a teacher so it’s tough. Anyways, I just ordered the starter kit (black) on Friday at 1:10pm eastern. It just got delivered (Monday 1:10pm eastern) lol, i.e. Delivery receipt to my email 20 minutes ago. Charging it now and will give you an update on it’s use within 72 hours. I’ve been researching E-cigs for 2 years so far. And Blu has redeemed themselves from various issues in the past. 1) They don’t have their atomizers or juice cartridges made in china or such anymore, which is why shipping and Out of Stock issues had arisen all the time. The atomizers are IN the self sealed juice cartridges, No worrying about the juice leaking, etc. So it’s only 2 parts. One time I called Customer Service and the guy was a rude bitch. The 2nd time, AMAZINGLY nice and intelligent and talked with her for about 15 minutes LOL! Overall, e-cigs in general just aren’t for some people. And for others, You’ll never be able to make happy, But from 2 years of solid research and reading forums every day…What do you have to lose? 70 bucks? BLUCIG is DEFINITELY worth it’s weight in gold (though not much weight so I don’t know LOL!!!!) Also, People have been complaining that the battery packs don’t last very long? I mean cmon, You have a PACK you carry with you so that it can KEEP it charged on the go. Granted, If you happened to get a bad battery and only one puts out good vapor, then get it replaced, but at least you have a good one and a pack that can keep it charged, right?

    The comment below is in regards to the old version of Blu which was a three-piece system. I can say that Volcano brand e-cigs do have replacement atomizers that will fit blu’s old model. Hope that helps! Volcano Review Coming soon, stay tuned! – Admin

    I agree with this review in that the atomizers are inconsistent and often don’t work.

    I see that Blu has changed there cartridges to include the atomizer which may be ok, HOWEVER, I have 10 cartons of the old cartridges and need new atomizers. I contacted Blu to see if they could help me with the atomizers and they said NO. Now stuck with cartridges I can’t use. Poor Customer Service! NOT HAPPY! Does anyone know who might carry atomizers that fit the Blu? Also, I’d love to know what other brand this reviewer switched to. Diane

    I LOVE MY BLU!!!! I LOVE THE STYLE, THE SIZE, AND THE TO GO CHARGER. MAKES ME FEEL LIKE IM SMOKING A REAL CIG.!!!! Ive tried one previously called “smoking anywhere or everywhere” besides from them having more variety of flavors and vitamin cartriges. IT SUCKED!!! I Hope to see more flavor options with blu in the future. The Cartriges are cool too, they come ready to go. Highly Reccomend.

    This Blu is a great e-cig , but they have to Learn how to ship to International countries .. the only problem i have in this Blu .. is the sipping to Oman .
    and i must have CC in U.S.

    i felt this blu makes just like Monopoly , LOLING . only ship inside U.S. ><

    I love my Blu Cig. My neighbor bought one ( different brand) and I liked hers but it was tooling and bulky for my liking. I went online and started doing research and found Blu Cig. I love that you don’t have to pour the juice in the ecig its already in the cartridge ready to be screwed in. The design is small unlike more ecigs, it draws just like a real cig,if you suck slowly your throat hit will be intense , which is great. You will get the hang of it. I like the cherry but look forward to other flavors. All in all its pretty cool

    I have read so many comments while trying to find out why my Blu’s were not producing much vapor. If anyone else has this problem, I have the answers. A few suggestions are to tap the ecig in hand, blow slightly into it to warm it up for use, and to store it cartomizer side-down. The biggest thing is to drag VERY VERY SLOWLY on them and to have fresh batteries. But above all drag slowly, not quickly like you are smoking a regular cig in 2 mins flat (like I do.)

    I’ve had my blu-cig for about a week now and I absolutely love it, it puts out great vapor, the battery is great and the pack that charges on the go is awesome. I would recommend blu to anyone. I was not sure cause of past reviews but the new cartamzers are great….

    I typically don’t leave reviews, but figured one was due here, to save other customers from being disappointed. If you notice, most of the positive reviews on this site are from people who just purchased their blu cigs, and that’s the whole thing about these – they work fine for the first month…after that it’s nothing but problems. I purchased mine in late November, was very happy with them for a month – great vapor, satisfactory battery life. A month later the performance started going down sharply. It would take me several very heavy draws to get any vapor at all, the batteries would die in 1-2 hours, one of the automizers stopped working completely. I ordered another set of automizers, that solved the problem for about another month – then both of the new ones stopped working around the same time. I know that the batteries are not eternal, but I kind of expected them to last at least half an year, or so. If I have to keep buying new hardware every month, smoking these might end up being a more expensive habit than smoking cigarettes. 3 months later I have 2 batteries that only last about 1/2 hour before they need to be recharged, and only 1 working automizer. Switched to a different e-cig brand and so far I’m having a much better experience than with blu. And other brands actually let you know how long the battery is expected to last (300 recharges for the ones I’m using now).

    I have smoked many e-sigs, and it seems that blue doesn’t give you the “throat” hit on a consistent basis like the others. I find myself having to refill my cartridges every 10 drags or so just to keep getting the throat hit. The flavors that come in their cartridges aren’t the best either. The cherry kinda tastes like urinal cakes, so not a big fan of them either. Blu is a great e-sig for the person who doesn’t know anything about E-sigs and wants a cheap starter, but there are better ones out there…. A LOT of better ones out there… quite a few worse ones as well.

    I researched quite a bit before I decided to purchase blu, I knew that quitting smoking ment I’d really need to find a reliable, realistic, good working, high quality brand… I had tried 2 cheaper brands first, some knock off brands, I was so frustrated with the battery constantly dieing, bad taste, horrible customer service, cartridges didn’t last long…in a month I was right back to smoking… I knew I needed a better quality brand so I did some research, looked for the best customer rated brands and for me it came between green smoke, white cloud, and blu. I was going to purchase white cloud, but the cost just to get started was extremely high ($240 for their newer light weight brand), the batteries were priced high ($80 for extras), the cartridges are pretty expensive too($20 for a 5 pack) and green smokes prices were better but on the high side as well…but I figured if the quality was as good as they say I’d make the investment… still undecided I was looking at the blu website I seen they a cheaper start up kit, that included 2 batteries, charger, a carrying case that also charges your ecig on the go, cheaper cartridges with great flavors (each one contains it’s own atomizer) and great customer reviews… I was a lil hesitant to buy, in fear that you get what you buy and I wasn’t sure if I was compromising a quality product by going with the cheaper blu brand, but the 30 day money back guarantee put me at ease, so I went for it knowing if it wasnt good I could always return it… I went with the free shipping so it took about 5 days to get here, but I have to tell you what a great productand I couldn’t be happier!! I love it!     I have to say, I had a Blu cig (the old cartridge type) and I liked the taste, but wasn’t happy with the vapor production. After reading your review of the new cartridges I decided to order the new ones, and also ended up buying the black pack since it was out of stock when I first ordered my initial white kit.

    I was expecting the cartridges to be like the Smoke51 ones, where the atomizer and the cartridge is one unit. I was correct. I wasn’t correct in my assumption that they would be the same. In fact, the Blu cartridges are SO MUCH BETTER! They don’t burn. I haven’t yet seen a cartridge like this that doesn’t burn. Somehow they nailed it. The smoke production is an order of magnitude better than before. It’s thick, nice throat hit (but not painful like some others). But the BEST part is the taste. The taste is wonderful! Anyone who has smoked a hookah before will instantly recognize the taste. So far I tried Cherry and Menthol and they both taste delicious, with Cherry actually having a very distinct cherry taste. I can’t wait to try the other flavors, and so far I have to admit I haven’t been able to kill this cartridge after a whole day of “smoking”. On the contrary, the flavor just got even better, without any hint of burning or dying out.

    I rarely leave reviews about products, but with this one I feel that Blu really took the time to perfect the design of their entire product. It feels like a mature, well thought out and well designed device. It’s just perfect. Also, the shipping (just like the first time) was very quick.

    And that’s a bunch for this site, without it I wouldn’t have known about the new cartridges! This is the best e-cig I’ve tried. You can’t beat the portable charger pack, the way it looks, the way it feels in your hand and the taste. Best e-cig all around, and I’ve tried a few of them!

    Thank god I found this site. I’ve been looking for an e-cig review forum for quite a while now. So many products out there and with the price tags, you never know what’s worth your coin or not, so again, thank god for this site. Anyway, now to the review:

    I ordered blu back in April of ’10. I received my starter kit promptly. Back then they had the three piece system, which was the standard back then. I got my product in and they worked (good vapor production, single battery lasted 4+ hours, no leaks, ect). After 3 days I wasn’t smoking regular cigarettes anymore, which was awesome being that I’d smoked a pack a day for a decade. They worked so well that after another 5 days of smoke free living, I decided to stock up of cartridges. Bought a crap load of ‘em (the coffee cartridges taste
    WONDERFUL). Then 2 days after that (I had not even received my new cartridges yet) they stopped producing enough vapor. This frustrated me a LOT because I had just decided to depend of the blu whole heartedly and did not even carry a pack of regular smokes to work *just in case*, so I was stranded with out a fix. I thought it was the atomizers, so I ordered 2 of those. My cartridges came in promptly, but my atomizers took WAY longer than they should have, and they still didn’t completely fix my vapor production problem. I kept getting less and less vapor. Then I realized it must be the batteries. I contacted them about getting replacements, and they said it could take 6-8 weeks. I gave up.

    Anyway, I recently decided to give vapeing another try. Blu has gone to a 2 piece system, which made me wanna give them another shot. Besides, I still have the charge-in-your-pocket pack + 2 newish atomizers and a lot of the old style cartridges. I ordered 2 batteries and a five pack of the new atomizer included coffee cartridges. I also ordered a V2 ultimate starter kit. I figure I can see if blu’s product has improved and then decided whether I wanna turn in the V2 for the 30 day full money back guarantee. I may have to post another review for blu in a month to take back all the negativity I posted here. Wish me luck not smoking!

    I love BLU! I have tried many other products, including the SafeCig and Blu is my favorite. They have a quality product, and great flavors. I do have a minor complaint- When I ordered all different flavors, they only sent me tobacco, menthol and java. I wanted to try vanilla and cherry, but I didn’t get them. The vapor is very smooth and it doesn’t irritate your throat like the SafeCig does. I also love the style, and it’s small. The pack it charges in is also a great idea. Overall, this is my E-Cig of choice. :)

    Decided to go with Blu when I started researching e-cigs. Was excited to receive my kit but waited 13 days for it to arrive. I was impressed when I received my kit & charged the batteries & started. Very dissapointing. Absolutly no vapor after the first few drags. Taste like medicine & they leak. The liquid tastes horrible. Batteries do not last very long (maybe an hour or two). Was going through numerous cartridges a day & finially gave up about half way through my cartridges. Decided to try Smoke Tip & absolutly love it. Good vapor & taste & received my kit in 4 days. Have already reordered more cartridges for Smoke Tip. Go with Smoke Tip & stay away from Blu.

    When I first started with blucigs a year ago, the customer service was excellent. I bought starter kits at $15.00 less than the going price and bought cartridges in quanity with different specials that were going. All the good value has gone by the wayside with the customer service. The vapor hasn’t always been very good and the battery life stinks but it is a great alternative to real tobacco. The lastest blunder has been in their changing of the formula. I smoke menthol and the new cartridges don’t even have a hint of menthol. Customer service’s response was that because they now use only US products, the taste has changed. Thanks for the notice!

    My boyfriend got the blucigs for Christmas so I ordered a starter kit and extra cartridges on December 27th, expecting to have them by my birthday on January 9th. It’s now January 15th and still no starter kit. The cartridges came today but there’s no use for them without the starter kit. The reason I ordered them separately is because the cartridges were out of stock and I didn’t want that to affect the shipping time of my starter kit. Customer service doesn’t knOw anything and really cant do anything accept say I don’t k ow when new shipments will be in. Now tomorrows Sunday, and Monday’s MLK day so now I have to wait until the 18th (at the least).

    The product is wonderful, the best. I have been on no nicotine for 2 months now. Customer service is the worst. I receive a coupon with each shipment for $5.00 off on the next order. I have placed 8 orders online and it will not accept the coupon. I wrote a letter to the CEO and included all 8 coupons. This was 2 months ago and haven’t heard a word.
    Shipping timeline is herrendous. I order some cartridges on December 27. They took the money from my debit card on Dec 28th. Here we are at Jan. 6th and no product. Customer Service will only tell you it should be there anyday. This is the fourth time this has happened out of 9 orders.

    So far I have purchased three starter kits, 1 for myself, 1 for the better half, and 1 for my son, plus some extra batteries and atomizers. I have dropped from 2 packs of cigarettes to less than 1 cigarette per day. The shipping is reasonably fast, flavor is good, haven’t had a need for customer service yet. The only con is short battery life, but with the extra batteries it shouldn’t be a problem. I think my doctor will be pleased.

    There are two basic problems with BLU Cigs

    1. Poor shipping- When Blu’s hit the market they were overwhelmed by the response and quickly turned up production as fast as they could. Are they better now?.. I don’t know. I haven’t replaced anything yet..I refill my cartridges.

    2. Weak Vapor Production, Short cartridge life, Short battery life. All caused by one thing…INCONSISTENT BATTERIES.
    One of my battery’s Puts out weak vapor and is hard to draw but lasts forever on a charge
    My other vapors great but runs dead quickly, and runs an “empty” cartridge long after my weak battery says it’s empty.

    I loved the cigarettes when I first got them. I could not get my batteries to hold a charge. I would charge them and after about 3 puffs they would not draw. Tried the wall charger, USB charger, the pack charger and none worked well. I loved the size of the cigarette, the taste and the rechargeable carrying case. If I had been able to get the batteries to charge I might not have sent the kit back. I’m thinking it was the poor charge that led to the hard draw and low vapor production but I am not sure. If blu improves these items I would highly recommend, otherwise I would try something else.     Both my son and I like the product but good luck getting delivery. If you place an order with more than one item, and they don’t have something in stock, they hold the entire order instead of backordering (it might take weeks for them to receive what they don’t have). They use Streamlite for delivery to a center, and where it is turned over to USPS (so don’t believe their “USPS shipping”). Streamlite is a disaster. The first 2 orders took almost 2 weeks to receive (in Texas), once Streamlite received them. The last one Streamlite lost – when called their comment was the only thing that could be done was to have the shipper reship. Blu reshipped (unfortunately through Steamlite), but at this point it’ll be almost 2 months after the original order before it is received (IF it is received). I wanted to take this on a vacation with me next week, and allowed plenty of delivery time, but definitely will not receive it in time – Blu will not ship any other way. If you decide to go with Blu, be certain to allow a long delivery time (that is, if they have the product in stock).

    I’ve been using blu for the past couple months and overall I can’t complain with the product but the customer service is a ENTIRELY different story. With the starter kit they ship in no time flat. After that its wishful thinking. I ordered replacement pieces and cartridges 2 weeks ago and I’m still waiting. I’ve emailed and called and keep hearing the “they’re on their way” or “its not our problem” excuses which is a crock of s**t. As for the cigarette tself they are awesome. Was able to stop using any tobacco product and feel so much better.

    I gave Blu five stars across the board. I started e-cigs just two weeks ago, with an “Envy” brand that I paid fifty bucks for. Like I said, I’ve used it for two weeks and have a few minor complaints (lousy draw, liquid coming out of the little hole if you draw too hard, etc.), but I got my Blu today and I’m absolutely blown away by the difference in quality, workmanship, taste, design (charger in pack = genius) and value. I couldn’t wrap my head around actually quitting cigarettes with the Envy. It was much too different from smoking. With the Blu, it’s going to be a breeze. The draw is just like a cigarette, and they’ve done everything they could to make it as convenient as possible. My first puff on that bad boy and I felt nothing but pure relief.

    It’s been such a struggle. There was some vapor, not much, with the original kit. Then none. I called them several times and they gave me some tips, none worked. In the end they said I should probably return the atomizers, and they would replace them. My question was “what do I do in the meantime?” go back 100% to regular cigarettes? It was not their problem, so I ordered new ones and figured I’d return the bad ones later, so I wouldn’t be without for two weeks. They do not ship within 24 hours and they do not tell you when they are out of stock, so you wait and wait. Their shipping is free, but they do not offer alternate shipping, where you could pay to get it faster. The new atomizers finally came and the first cartridge I used with the new atomizer produced an incredible amount of vapor and lasted for a long time. I was in heaven until I went to a 2-nd cartridge and no more vapor. Neither of the 2 new atomizers made more than a trickle of vapor, sometimes. I called them again and they said to send back the kit and they will replace it, however they are out of stock and do not know for how long. To me that means weeks of being without, so I ordered a kit from Safe Cig.

    Needs more vapor production. Real cigarettes are much better at delivering nicotine. If electric cigarettes are to succeed,they need to deliver nicotine as well as the real thing.

    If your looking for good customer service dont depend on Blucigs. By mistake I ordered to high mg and made me ill. Blucigs refused to refund after stating in their website “if for any reason” you can return. Nor would they exchange the extra cartridge package I ordered, that was unopened. Their shipping was very slow.

    Overall, I believe I’m satisfied with my Blu. The cigarette itself is pretty much a standard base from all e-cigarettes, though I really do enjoy the various flavors they’ve produced to go along with it. Upon arrival, everything worked perfectly out of the box. I will say that in order to get maximum draw/vapor from your cigarette, it’s best to take a few puffs at a time, on the go. Shipped and received within a week solid, and the starter kit will not disappoint. One thing though, be sure to keep the atomizer clean! That’s crucial to making sure you get long lasting vapor production. Atomizers can and will go bad!

    I have had numerous problems with this company and would not recommend dealing with them to anyone. Every time I place an order or attempt to purchase refills there is a problem with my order. The customer service
    reps are also very impatient and they make you feel like you are bothering them by placing an order. I would suggest ordering E-Cigs from some other source.

    Regarding vapor production: the regular tobacco flavor and the menthol get good vapor. My experience was the other flavors do not. As far as flavors go, I like the full flavor the best. It produces the most vapor and tastes good (not like a real cig.) but soft and clean. The style, look, and price are exceptional!! The battery doesn’t last a full day, but considering the starter kit comes with 2 batteries and an “on-the-go” charger pack it’s not a big deal for me at all. Customer service is ok. The live chat is very convenient. The speed of shipment was great on my starter kit. They told me it was back-ordered but I recieved it the same week. My next experience with shipment was not as good – I ordered a carton of cartridges a week ago and my order has yet to be processed. So…Speed of shipment is hard to rate based on only two experiences. I haven’t tried any other e-cigs but I was very happy with my first experience. I’ve had the Blu-Cig for a few weeks and I haven’t had any malfunctions or problems yet.

    We were introduced to Blu by friends, and we love it! Granted, we refill rather than buying pre-filled cartridges, but the quality of the product and the prices; as well as the shipping value can’t be beaten. Their shipping practice is abhorrable, which is why it’s fortunate that they don’t charge for their shipping…they do backorders without advising customers, and I’ve waited for 10 days before, only to find out my order has yet to be processed or shipped. So I get a bit cranky over that…I don’t mind waiting, but I expect someone to address it. But I will still back Blu Cig’s product over any other.

    Since getting Blu, over a week ago, I’ve finally kicked the habit of smoking traditional smelly cigarettes. I was up to a pack a day ($12!) for about 10 years and since Blu’s arrival, I haven’t even touched the 3 that I had left in my previous pack. I got mine with the 12mg nicotine to start, but my recent order was for a lesser dose. (12mg makes my fingers twitch involuntarily.) I take moderate, paced inhales and have had great success with vapor production as well as making a cart last longer. Since, the “candy” flavors are a bit much after a while, I’m comfortable with the cartridge sizes and haven’t gotten too tired of a certain flavor at once. The only down side has been, the requirement of a paperclip and tweezer as a part of the routine. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this product. No more paranoia about smelling like an ashtray. This is a life changer!!!

    I have enjoyed becoming an e-cig smoker. Blu flavors are great and at a great price. Shipping has been a little slow, but not a big deal. The start up price is very good. I do agree that they need to speed up their shipping. If a procduct is unavailable, they should email the customer so changes can be made.

    when i fist tried blucig it was amazing. loved it! loved it so much ordered a 2nd full set in black + 80.00 more of the menthol cartridges. Well shipping takes for ever:(
    the worst part
    when i did get the new cartridge sets they all smelt and tasted like a bad quality of plastic.
    so i have now been waiting over 4weeks for a replacement.

    To be honest, I was totaly impressed with the product. I order it on a Tuesday and it came in on a Wed,even with the holiday. I received it just in time.Tracking was easy and I was able to track my package. I even chatted with Customer Service becuase I had lost my tracking # and they were able to provided it right away. Charging the package took about an hour. I was amazed at the size of blu. It was close to a king size cigarette. Since it came with the variaty package. I had to try the menthol. The taste was super. I love it. I will try the other flavors later. The vapor production is good and the taste is constant. I believe, I got use to the extra stuff they put on the cigarette and that is what I am missing. My family is happy. My boyfriend is happy as well. So I am happy. I don’t feel the nicotine is strong and I purchase the maximum. But then again. I notice, I wasn’t smoking as much either. So it does work fine. I truly do recomend the product. You are all welcome to try another brand. But for now, blu is doing pretty darn good.

    This is my first intro into e.ciggs.Picked Blu because of the charging pack.And you will need that pack while on the go because the battery life for me sucks.And also for me the flavor packs don`t last as nearly as I expected them too.I haven`t figured it out yet but it looks like keeping myself suppled in flavor packs will cost a fortune.I`am not that heavy of a smoker either.
    On the good side the flavor and vapor out put is good.And the carrying pack is way to cool.Shipping for me was rather fast,no complaints their.I have ordered another higher end line e-cigg.

    Let me start by saying blu has to be the best value of any e-cigarette I can think of.
    I am now on week number 2 and just barely getting to the last of my cartridges that came with the $60 starter kit.
    For $60 they sure give you everything you need.
    Most brands give you a USB charger only and you’re left to find something to plug into the wall or car. This is not the case with blu. They give you a wall charger as well. Oh and the best part is the pack! It recharges one, while you have another one to smoke in the meantime. The fact you get two batteries is great.
    For the cartridges, they taste fantastic.
    My favorite is the menthol and the cherry, vanilla is also good, and the java jolt surprised me as I thought this one would taste horrible.
    The only one I’m unimpressed with is the classic tobacco. It doesn’t quite taste like tobacco to me, although it doesn’t taste bad.
    The atomizers are of good quality and the typical ‘bridge’ design.
    For those of you who are complaining about vapor production or flavor, try this. When putting on a new cartridge, give it a couple good twists, then remove the cartridge from the atomizer. You might just see a little piece of foil on the tip of your atomizer. This is the flavor seal that all blu cartridges have, and often these can block the atomizer from properly burning the cartridge evenly.
    Another great thing about blu is the ease of getting replacement parts.
    Batteries are $10 each, new atomizers are $10 a pair, and you can buy a blu pack for $10, and $10 will also get you replacement chargers.
    There are many figures on what a cartridge will last you, and for me, I call it 10 cigs per cartridge. (100 puffs per cartridge, 10 good drags per traditional cigarette for me)
    I highly recommend the blu to anyone who is interested in starting on e-cigarettes.
    My only complaint is the shipping; mine took FOREVER. They use a company called “MailExpress” which I’ve never heard of. Took about a week and a half from order to my door.

    ALSO TO ANYONE BUYING NEW CARTONS OF CARTRIDGES.
    Here’s a secret. The starter kit will come with a coupon code for your next order of flavor cartridges, $5 off. This isn’t $5 off one, this is $5 off EVERY carton you buy.
    Their special is when you buy 2 cartons its $22.50 each (as opposed to $25)
    And if you buy 4 cartons its $20 a piece. Buy 4 cartons, its $80, the coupon will give you $5 off every one, which basically gives you a free carton! $60 for 4 cartons, 100 cartridges, the equivalent of 1000 cigarettes of my math. Wow!

    I have used Smoke Tip for a while and thought I would try something different. Ordered Blu on Monday morning and got it on Saturday…too long. Batteries never charged right, lasted at most 2 hours, 3-part system is not to my liking, after the fist few drags the “hit” is gone and you are vaping flavored smoke.I am amazed this is rated so high on this website, especially with other comments I have read here. I ordered Smoke Tip on Monday evening and got it Thursday. Glad to be back

    Blu sigs helped my father quit smoking. This is a very good alternative to tobacco smoking since it is nicotine free, safe for second hand smokers, less mess and cost effective. They just need to work on the batteries to make it last longer.

    After 52 years of smoking I finally found something safer and better. There is no second hand smoke or burning matter or bad smell. You have to learn to use them but if I recall we had to learn to smoke cigarettes too. The price is good so far. I am happy and more to the point I have not had a cigarette since my Blu arrived almost 4 weeks ago. Now let’s hope they stay available and aren’t taxed out of reach like cigarettes were.

    My Blu will not last longer than 20 minutes and it’s time to recharge. Too bad because they have the best flavors. The pack has never worked for me to recharge the battery. The only good thing about this product is the flavors.

    I have had great luck with my blu’s. They have always produced vapor correctly and in the right amount, but as some of you said, this may just be because they are new. My Blu’s came in about a week and I was eager to try them. One thing I was dissapointed about was the size. I was hoping it to be a bit bigger but i still think it is great. I recommend this product to anyone who is trying to quit smoking or just wants to look ” Cool” as that was the reason I bought them. It gets a four out of five stars. There cheap taste good and very slick. I love bLU!

    Didn’t know whether to be impressed or disappointed from the start. Batteries do not last as long as promised but do last long enough for the other to charge. The light indicaters on the chargers do not work correctly half the time but a good indicator is when the on you are using is dead……this approach has worked good for me sp far. The mobile charger is a big plus but again the indicator lights do not work as they are supposed to. The vapor production seems to vary from cartridge to cartridge so you have a 50/50 chance of great vapor vs. mediocre production. Have to say that if others were not so expensive, I would more than likely try another brand. BIG plus wis BLU is that the price is so much better then it’s competiters…..but keep in mind, you do get what you paid for. If BLU thinks I may have got a clunker then I would be happy to try another starter pack and review again….but not at my expence.

    Very nice concept: good size, charger and case very good. The battery life is a little short, but the recharge time is very short so no problem. The taste of all flavors tried was generally terrible. The best way to describe the taste is burned plastic. Customer service told me to clean the atomizer – still taste terrible. Really like the package, but the taste was unbearable. Will stick with my old smoking everywhere e cig for now (I must be one of a very few who had good luck with the smoking everywhere brand). The Blu gets two stars only because of “coolness factor”. Had to return it.

    Price: Excellent.
    How hard/easy to “draw”: Not bad, better than most, but not “the best”.
    Amount of Smoke: Great for first 30 or 40 pulls, Average after that, but tried worse.
    Taste: Best yet, hands down.
    Look: Best I’ve seen, blue LED is DOPE!
    Customer Service: Don’t know, but didn’t read/hear the best stuff in the world. – 3 stars…
    Speed of Shipment: I got mine in 4 days and was told it would be 2 or 3, 4 ain’t that bad in my opinion.

    Blu Ecigs I received my shipment in under a week and for a 1 pack a day smoker it works good.
    Cant go wrong for the price of a starter kit it’s under the cost of a carton.
    The 25 cartages they taper off in flavor pretty quick but are awesome for the first few pulls say there equal to about 100 cigs. the way I smoke.
    but it’s cheaper cleaner and feels better for me.

    Vivid Vanilla and menthol are my two least liked flavors
    but tobacco and java are AMAZING !!!

    There shipping should have more options, since you cant just run around the corner for the supplies. The shipping is unreliable and so are the tracking numbers.
    I went on a chat with CS tonight, and quite frankly she was rude and acted like my inconvience of my new strter kit no working was not her problem. I had the white one before I ordered the black one, so I knew what to expect, and somehting want working because there was no tast or smoke, not matter the trouble shooting. Now lets see how lont it takes for a exchange. The company needs to realize shipping and CS with people trying to quit smoking need reliability!

    I definitely like blu. Shipping was reasonably fast and the price was right. All of the flavors are great. Except “classic tobacco”. It tastes more like a cheap vanilla cigar that has pesticides in it. nothing like straight up tobacco. Smoking the java while drinking a mocha was far more tobacco like. However, they look sweet and I will buy them again.

    Shipment must be made in advance (living in So Cal). in past two months, my fiance and I, who both enjoy the product have sent orders 2 weeks in advance. Yet, he has to switch over to normal cigarettes, because of processing, shipping, and crap; the benefits of the product almost become pointless. I have had my pack for 3 months now. Charging is several hours and one of the batteries charges for a minute and turns off. There is a warranty for the pack that includes atomizers and batteries, but to work with shipping makes me reluctant. Needless to say, I am looking for another product. PS.. white pack packs on dirt, fast, and the form inside the pack is grimy around the atomizers.

    My regular cigarettes started tasting so bad (due to the new safety paper) I couldn’t smoke them. I ordered a blu starter pack on 5/19, then saw that there were complaints posted about how long it took to get them. Bought the Envy locally to use until the blu got here. I was sold with the Envy but when blu arrived today (5/21), I gave the Envy to my sister. blu completely blew Envy out of the water. Great system, great taste, I don’t know why anyone would bother with the mess of tobacco now that e-cig (blu) is available. I have been smoking for 40 years and this is my 3rd day on vapor. I lit one of my old brand (out of habit) when I got up this morning and it was terrible. I will never go back!!!! :D

    I love the blu cigs! I received them 4 days after ordering and 2 of those days were weekend days. I just received my first re-order of carts and they took 4 days also. Everything has come priority mail, not a bad deal. Smoke is great. I settled on the Classic Tobacco after trying the starter packs. I haven’t had a analog cig since the blu’s came in and haven’t really missed them. I only used customer service once to ask about the atomizer and they were very courteous and helpful. The draw is great and the hit is good with a fresh battery and cartridge. The hit falls off rapidly even though the “smoke” is still there. Seems like you only get 4 or 5 good hits before the cartridge goes weak (for lack of a better word). Puffing harder will “hot-box” the cartridge just like over-puffing a regular cigarette will do. The ONLY improvement I think they could stand would be more power-hits from the cartridge, other than that, overall they are awesome. Not to mention that I can “battery-up” anywhere.

    Cartridges don’t last as long as they claim. One thing I did find out is that you have to wait awhile in between puffs. You can’t puff on it like a real cigarette. I was only getting about 20 puffs/cartridge thinking that this is a ripoff. I found out later when I reused a cartridge and I was still getting vapor. So, now up to about 40 to 50 puffs which is equivalent to about 3 to 4 cigarettes. Reason why I rated it 4 out 5 stars overall was that it really helped me quit that nasty habit. I’ve tried nicotine gum and patches which were not that effective as a e-cig. It’s been over 2 weeks since I quit. I don’t crave a cigarette any longer. No more smelly clothes, yellow teeth, and most important bad breath.

    I had an ehealth cig before. not a very good product. Now I have the Blucig and so far so good. Excellent price point too. I’ve read the ordering horror stories just now and I have to say “I didn’t experience any of them, I got my Blucigs in 72 hrs. as promised”.
    I love the fact that you charge the pack and take with you to charge batteries on the fly. A car charger option would be nice.
    I like all of the flavors but menthol, only because I don’t like menthol anyway. The classic tabaco and Vanilla are my fav’s. Followed by JJ and CC.
    So far so good. Will have to wait and see about battery life and atomizer life.
    Will most def switch to liquid drops though, more economical and more vapor from drops.

    I placed my order on the 5th of May and it arrived on the 10th with a weekend in there. So the shipping issue seems to be resolved at least in my case.
    The vapor and flavor seem to be improvign as I go. This is the first one so we will see as time goes by. Overall I am thrilled with it and like the flavor better than my old cigs and I love the part that you can put it down and no smoke, no waste and no ash tray to dumped…lol

    I was very pleased with shipment time and the style of the product. Unfortunately the carts and batteries don’t last anywhere near as long as advertized and the charger pack light goes out after a minute of charging. Fortunately the USB charger works as Blu won’t ship a replacement until the old charger is returned at my expense. Very disappointed so far. It isn’t worth even the very low price. Plan to look for a more reliable product.

    This is great product overall. But listen people, what you need to understand is that this is not a tobacco burning cigarette so naturally it’s not going to feel EXACTLY like a real cigarette. It takes maybe a day of getting used to. You don’t need to take a huge pull with these as you would with an analog cig. In fact, with these you get a much better hit if you take a slow moderate pull. This is an excellent healthier alternative to all other nicotine products, patches and gum included. And buying your own e-liquid and dripping your own cartridges is much more cost effective. Vapure.com is a great source for e-juice.

    For those of you who have the complaint of not getting a good vapor hit, read the following as this is probably the problem:

    My husband and I just recently recieved our Blu package and were intially impressed, but it seemd after a few puffs, we were getting close to nothing. We were disappointed so I decided to check on line; I figured maybe we were doing something wrong since I had read a lot of positive opinions of Blu, which is why we decided to go with them. Luckily I came across Michael T’s post on here:

    “It helps (with blu) if when you place the cartridge on the atomizer, to twist it a few times then take it off again. You will find a small piece of foil stuck to the wick of the atomizer, remove it, then place the cartridge back on again. If you find that you do not get a good vapor hit, this is probably the problem”.
    I did exactly what he recommended and it made such a huge difference! They are so much better now! Thanks Michael! I am surprised Blu doesn’t inform their customers. I have read other complaints of the same thing. Try it, it makes a big difference :)

    I smoked traditional cigarettes for over 35 years and as of tomorrow I am smoke free for 1 month. Thank you blu for making that happen. I have tried nicotine patches, gum, medication and nothing seemed to work until I found the blu cigarettes. My only compliant is the shipping. I would rather have paid for 2 day shipping and recieved them quicker, than to have my shipping for free and had to wait a week.

    My order was shipped quickly, I think it took about 4 days. Price is excellent, but compared to other products out there you definitely will get what you pay for.
    Style, taste and ease of transportation is great. The cartridges taste wonderful, but sadly I only get about one drag before nothing happens.
    If I wait 15-30 minutes in between each drag, it works great. Sadly, that’s not how I smoke, and it doesn’t satisfy me in the slightest.
    The battery is terribly confusing. “Remove after blinking stops.” Okay, sounds simple enough, right? Except for the fact the blinking DOES NOT stop, it just gets progressively longer in between each blink. I haven’t had a battery last for more than one “use” without it dying, and the pack doesn’t charge my batteries at all. The USB charger works great, but I bought this for the ease of use and portability. Having a charger pack is cute, but useless if it doesn’t actually charge.

    I’ll soon see how good customer service is when it comes to the 30-day refund guarantee. They were wonderful with processing the order, I only hope it goes as smooth with the return.

    I havent received my order yet and I ordered it a week ago, I did receive a tracking number through my email, but everytime I go on the website to track it, it tells me the number is invalid. So I emailed Blucigs customer service and they sent a new link to track it. That link told me it was shipped from Atlanta GA 4 days ago and still hasnt given me any updates since. I have to agree with the other reviews that the shipping is NOT good. I’m hoping that the product is much better. I will post another review about the product (IF I ever receive it).
    Also, I am assuming you should order your refills WAAAY ahead of time so that you dont run out…otherwise you may have to revert to smoking real cigs.

    I received my Blu Starter Kit today. I ordered on April 3rd and it is now April 13th. Not too bad for free shipping, though it would have been nice to have other options. I bought green smoke while waiting for my Blu to arrive… here is my comparison between the two ( green smoke $150.. Blu $60) Blu looks great! The PCC pack is great! I find that they both produce good vapor, though Blu is easier to draw on. It helps (with blu) if when you place the cartridge on the atomizer, to twist it a few times then take it off again. You will find a small piece of foil stuck to the wick of the atomizer, remove it, then place the cartridge back on again. If you find that you do not get a good vapor hit, this is probably the problem. Blu’s flavors are much “smoother” than the green smoke’s. Though green smoke does have a better “throat hit” feeling. For the price, Blu is well worth it! Refills are much cheaper than green smoke ( green smoke has cartomizers ) , and replacement batteries, atomizers etc. are cheaper with blu as well. If you are on a tight budget and would like to give up analog cigarettes.. Blu is the way to go!! They both offer 30 day money back… so you can try for yourself a 3 or 2 piece ecig practically risk free! Personally, I have given up smoking with no problems. Between Blu and Green Smoke, I like them both and am keeping both of them.

    Placed my order for the Black Starter Kit on April 3rd. It was marked as shipped on April 7th (although the tracking number is still showing nothing even 24 hours later). I have been anxious to try e-cigs… and had done some research before settling on Blu. While impatiently waiting for my order to process, I came across green smoke. A more $$$$ 2 piece e-cig (atomizer built into the cartridge). I placed my order on April 6th and it arrived on April 7th ( I paid $10 for overnight). So far I like the green smoke e-cig. When my Blu e-cig gets here I will compare and let you all know the differences… if any. Seeing as the Blu is $60 and green smoke was $150.

    Okay, I bought greensmoke, blu and smoketip. Smoketip is okay and a keeper, it also has a lifetime warranty and coustomer service is great. Blu is cute, nice charging system, vapor good, taste could be a little better, but over all a good e-cig. I have to admit though that greensmoke has the most vapor and the flavor is unlike any other e-cig out there. It seems like your really smoking a real cig. I do like Blu though and I plan on using all three to get me though so I wont go back to smoking real cigs. I am tobacco free for 7 days so far. The one thing I like about blu is it lets u know if u had enough nicotine…..

    I went ahead and bought the starter kit for my husband, who has smoked for 40 yrs. He has had some bad health problems lately and I have really been trying to get him to quit before it is too late. He is doing pretty well so far with e-cigs.     I’ve heard from some people that Blu are good, but that you just never know when you will receive their products b/c their shipping is very unreliable. I definitely haven’t had that experience with Blu, I ordered the starter kit and received it within 3 days and I love it! I couldn’t be happier that I chose Blu e-cigs.

    i like to go out for a drink with my co-workers after work almost every day and until recently, we could smoke inside at the bar without any problems. now there is a smoking ban and we have to go outside to smoke, which sucks because i live in Michigan and it gets VERY cold outside during the winter; i saw someone with an e-cig in the bar and was quite curious, so I asked about it; it was a Blu electronic cigarette and it had a cool Blue LED light at the tip so that people didn’t think it was a real cigarette; I went home and bought the Blu starter pack and now I can enjoy my e-cig at the bar while everyone else freezes outside!

    a friend told me about this site and i must say that I really do like it. i’ve used Blu menthol e-cigs for about 5 months now and I have almost completely quit smoking tobacco cigarettes too. i can’t tell you how much money i have saved, but it has been quite noticeable

    my biggest problem with e-cigs is that my battery always seems to die right when I really want to take a puff. I tried Blu because you can charge your e-cigs when you are on the go with the charging pack they come with. Now I don’t worry about my battery dying and me going without nicotine.

    Blu was/is my first E-Cig. I was a bit apprehensive about even trying the “fake” cigarette because it just seemed to me that nothing would feel the same. While I was right in that it does not feel the same, it feels close enough to give me hope. I have gone 3 days without a real cigarette and am REALLY EXCITED about the prospect of “quitting smoking”.

    It is close enough that I think it will work. The main problem is the inconsistency with the amount of vapor and number of “cigarettes” you get per cart(ridge). I don’t think I’ll save money but I do think I’ll be able to give up real cigarettes, and that makes me happy :)

    I purchsed this brand of electronic cigarette initially based on reviews for the product. Recently when I had a friend in the hospital I ended up going to a tobacco store and buying another type of e-cig. In comparison, the Blu is not near as productive. I noticed initially that the vapor draw is horrible. The first 2 draws you get vapor and then nothing. They really need to rethink thier atomizer design. Something else I dislike is that you can actually suck the liquid out of the end. Another thing I noticed is that the battery doesn’t last very long.

    Things I like are that they are nice looking and the convienance of the blue pack to use as a recharger when on the go. The price is great for what you get, i just wish the vapor production was there. The range of flavors are nice though the cherry and vanilla really need more flavor to them. Also, cartidges are easily refillable using any type of e-liquid.

    I’m a long time,pack a day smoker who loves smoking and dreamed how nice it would be to have a healthy cigarette. So, I searched the internet for a healthy alternative and discovered e-cigarettes. I researched and opted for the Blu cigarette for these reasons, style, price,the chargeable carrying case, flavor and advertising claims. It took over a month to receive my order and it was’nt worth it. At first I was impressed but after repeated use it’s performance was off and on. At times I’d get a good hit and other times I would have to really draw on it only to get very little or no smoke at all. The battery life sucks, constantly needs recharging and the cartridges did’nt last long. Needless to say my first experience with Blu is not encouraging but I like the concept of the e-cigarettes and hope to find one that lives up to its claims.

    I ordered my black starter kit on 02/15/10. On 02/19/10 I used their LIVECHAT to find out why my order was still processing. He stated processing takes up to 72 hours. I reminded him it had been over 72 hours. He said that the black starter kits were on back order. I reminded him they were not at the time of my order (at the time it was the white ones that were). He said there was nothing he could do but reassure me that my order would be sent on 02/22/10. On 02/22/10 I logged into my account and it showed my order was canceled. I called this time and she stated there was a “glitch” in the system and the order was still going to be sent the following morning by the manager on 02/23/10. On 02/23/10 I logged in again and found my order to still show as canceled. I called again and the woman said that it looked like “maybe” a credit card problem. I sighed and explained all of the above and that my credit card should not be the issue. She read over my account and said she agreed- there was a “glitch” in the system and she would forward all to management in the morning and the would call me by noon with a tracking number. SO….ordered on the 02/15/10 (one live chat, 2 phone calls) hopefully sent on 02/24/10??? We shall see. SO far…no too happy.

    I ordered my blu cig 8 days ago and just got it today shipping was not good and I never had a problem with costumer service like many others have but quality of the equipment is good not as much vapor as I would like ( seems to be hit and miss) sometimes I get alot and sometimes I get very little. tase is good. everall I’ve had a good experience with this company lets hope it stay that way

    Finally got through to blucigs. They stated it was now the white that is on back order and they have black in stock. I originally ordered one of each color and that was holding up my order. I cancelled my original order and re-ordered just a black kit. Was told it should ship within 48-72 business hours and shipping takes about 3 days. If I don’t see it by Feb 12, they are going to be crossed off my list for good. I asked how many people return their kits wanting a refund, I was told about 5% of the people did not like it. True or not? I don’t know, but I will be back with my review of this ecig when it finally arrives.

    I placed my order over 4 weeks ago. When you call and talk to anyone you get the same answer. Order not shipped yet. Web site says ships within 48 hrs. (EDITED) I have canceled my order. What if you run out of refills and it takes 4 weeks or more to get your order. I would not order from this company.

She also added her chat with customer service that confirmed her order not being shipped yet due to high demand of the particular product she had ordered. I have not heard of shipping problems like these since back in October, this is a strange case, but I’ll do some investigation of my own :)

    I am a heavy smoker, and was looking for an alternative. I was intrigued with the look and cost of Blu Cigs so I placed an order. Since the black items were on back order, I went with the white. It took a over a week and my order was not processed. I had called 5 times throughout the week and nobody gave me any clear answers as to why my order was delayed. Finally, after 8 days of waiting, I was informed that they has JUST run out of the White starter kits. However, if my order had been processed on time, I would have my order. Customer service was of no help whatsoever. I immediately cancelled my order. I dont care how good they may be, but there are plenty of other brands with much better, and competent customer support. My advice is to look elsewhere for your ecigs.

    Sarah, when you experienced the gittery-ness and nausea after smoking the e-cig, how much food did you have in your system? I ask because I just bought one and it did make me slightly light-headed after a few drags. Not near what you described but it was enough for me to notice. But this was in the morning and I had no food in me, just coffee. Later I puffed on it some more with a full stomach and it wasn’t as bad but still there a little bit. I wonder if the amount of nicotine it says a ‘light’ should have is accurate, or if it’s too concentrated. I think I’m going to order the non-nicotine cartridges and see how that works out. Because I still think an e-cig is a good idea and I don’t want to give up on it, but the light-headedness did creep me out. I just don’t see how a regular smoker could possibly be bothered by the amount of nicotine the e-cig supposedly contains.

    Ive been useing my blu for about 4 weeks now .i really enjoyed it at first but it seems to be somewhat unreliable.one cart might work great for a day then the next time i change out it might poop out on me after one use.also i noticed if you push out the cup inside of the cart one might be small and the next one bigger(thats both comeing from the same pack of 5)carts just arnt consistent. ive just started dripping my own e juice into my blu carts and im getting much better vapor now.this is a good deal and great for people on the good like me but,if your gonna get one,I say ditch there prefilled carts and just drip your own.

    i like the product very much! but, my e-cig batteries are not lasting longer than 1 flavor cartridge, and i find that i’m re-charging batteries in the blu packs daily,as many as 3 a day. the flavors are GREAT! i smoked ultra-lights and ordered those, i found them to be much milder than ultra-light regualr cigs, my next order will be for “Lights”. i smoked a pack and a half to 2 pks of regualar cigarettes, i seem to be going through these rather quickly, so i’m not sure yet if they will save me money. my only issues so far are battery life and cartridge life, one e-cig seems to last me about an hour or 2 at best, i don’t know if this is normal. blu-cigs should come out with 100’s(bigger battery) and longer cartridge life. the blu-packs should have MORE places to store “complete-e-cigs” on the go. i would use the blu-packs like a traditional cigarette pack, but it doesn’t have enough storage, so instead i use an empty cigarette pack to carry them around. but all in all as far as marketing “Blu-Cigs” are CLASSY and the product is very good!

    Ok. I have been smoking for 10 years. Got this because it seemed like a great idea and had tons of great reviews. Here is my experience. I have TWICE had the nicotine blow into my mouth, which was disgusting and left me jittery and nauseated for hours. The smoke production is very little. And after 2 to 3 puffs I would get incredibly dizzy and feel like I had had a few drinks. The idea of an e cig is fantastic, but my personal experience with it has not been so great. I ordered the lights which is what I have always smoked, and so when I get all dizzy after 2 to 3 puffs and have to stop “smoking” then I feel very less than satisfied. A whole regular cigarette doesn’t leave me feeling so bad. Eh, try it. If it works for you, great! If not, I’m about to find out how good their money back guarantee is!

    This products is great. Cheapest of the major brands, has a few minor drawbacks, like it cold produce a bit more vapor and be a little easier to hit, but over all it’s an awesome product. I got my kit within 96 hours of ordering.

    Only the black is on back order. I ordered the white as a result and received in one week. The black looks cool but in the end I didn’t feel it was worth the wait. The product is great. I had trouble setting up at first and they had a representative on one live chat that walked me through it.

    Just got my blu starter today. This is my first ecig.I smoked for over 40 years 1.5 pack a day..I wish they had something this then. I think This will help me to cut my old habit smoking regular stuff.I have did a lot of research on this and few people I know tell me they like them.
    Feels like the real thing.Shipping took 4 days I never tried to quit smoking And using the blu I dont have to quit…

    Just ordered the Blu starter kit last night(this morning to be exact). I did a little research beforehand and Blu seemed like a no-brainer as far as price and quality are concerned. After i placed my order, and i did even more research, i realized that there are many more models of e-cigs available that are in a similar price range but supposedly better quality(such as: better vapor production(this is the main criticism as far as Blu Cigs are concerned)…and honestly that’s the only negative criticism I’ve encountered. Obviously, people have their own preferences, when it comes to anything, whether that be: alcohol, tobacco, food, anything really. Once i receive my package i will post again to provide my own opinion. Obviously, i’m not the ultimate source of knowledge when it comes to this product, but i will provide an honest opinion about how well these e-cigs(Blu) compare to an actual smoking experience. From what i hear Blu Cigs are horrible when it comes to shipping time(i ordered the white color) so i will share my own experience as far as shipping time is concerned. Some receive their packages quicker than others. Right now the black color is back-ordered; hence, the reason i ordered the white color. Anyhow, once my kit is received i will provide a review free of bias. Until then…do your thing. A real review without dollars or bias will be posted shortly…i hope.

    I like the blu light because I used to have NJOY and a lot of managers and employees when I smoked the NJOY would tell me “To put that out, there’s no smoking in here” – I haven’t been bother yet with my Blu!

    Just found ur site…..I’ve used Blu for the past 6 mos and can’t say enough good things about this ecig. I’ve tried all the flavors and there Menthol is the best I’ve tried…tastes just like a menthol cigarette.

    Rec Bu Cigs Jan 4 2010, fast shipping, with all the reviews I have read I was a little concerned with the shipping time but WOW rec within 6 days. After charging them up I was very surprised at the throat hit (which is what I like)rec. I have been a smoker since I was 18 now 45 and this is the best product, I haven’t smoked for 1 week now and going strong. Thanks big BLU.

    This is the healthiest smoke I’ve had in a long time. The Shipment came to me in 4 days instead of 5 days. I would say that is pretty darn fast. The cost for it all is just wonderful. I mean with a pack of cigarettes I could smoke in a whole day. I just cant believe it took me all day to smoke just one cartridge. I mean with one carton it has 25 cartridges in it. So I guess that would be 25 days of smoke with no refill pretty good for me. The first one I tried was the menthol, I thought it would have a little bit more flavor. Its everything I would’ve of hoped for. I give it an A-.

    These cigs are fantastic! They really surprised me. I have tried all the other stop smoking methods–patches, pills, gum and nothing worked. Now I can still smoke without the harmful carcinogens. The tobacco flavor tastes just like a regular cigarette. The vanilla and cherry are great, too. I still have to try the java and menthol. My family is happy that the car, house and my clothes no longer smell like cigarettes.

    My 4 month old baby had bronchitus, & his pediatrician said I had 2 quit smoking or go smoke outside & change clothes when I come back in – neither of those ideas sounded too pleasant to me but I knew I couldn’t jeopardize my baby’s lungs any longer. Later that night, I saw an infomercial for SmartSmoker & hit the web to find out more about electronic ciggs. I was immediately attracted to the very cool charger kit that comes with the Blu starter pack. I ordered the starter kit in black (LOVE the blue LED) with an extra carton of menthol. I did this @ 2:30 a.m. & my husband woke up as I was relaying my ccard info & thought I was nuts! Only later the next day did I start to further research the reviews on Blu & got kinda scared @ all the bad reviews it was getting ESPECIALLY on speed of delivery, & I began 2 very much fear that I had made an impulsive mistake. Much 2 my amazement, tho, Exactly 6 days later, my Blu kit was waiting in my mail box! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the ‘Marvelous Menthol’ cartridges, altho I found the Cherry flavor pleasant, but not a favorite. I have been smoking 4 damn close to 20 years, since I was 13, & been a 2 pack a day smoker since my mid 20’s. I have NEVER gone 24 hours without a cigarette in more years than I care 2 count. Thanks 2 Blu, I’m on day 3 without tobacco, & here’s hoping it will last! Unless I have a future problem with re-ordering cartridges, I will be a loyal fan of Blu until the day I can lay it all down completely!

    I Ordered my Blu starter kit on Sat(nov 21) and received mine on Nov 28th. One week later!!! I have tried EVERY possible method to quit(Chantix/Inhaler/Gum/Zyban/Patches/etc). I’ve finally come to accept that I really don’t want to “quit” smoking, I love smoking. However, they stink, they are killing you with each puff, and they cost a lot. So when my wife told me about an article regarding e-cigs, I was more than curious. Tried Smoke 51(Smoke Anywhere) and was charged $9.99 and then $89.95 and NEVER received the product. Had to cancel my card and still have gotten my refund!!! SMOKE 51 is a SCAM!!!
    Ready to give up, I tried Blu. Tried calling a few time first, just to see if I could actually speak to a “human being”. EVERYTIME I’ve called I’ve spoken to a LIVE PERSON right away. Long story short,,,, absolutely love the product and the satisfaction of feeling like I’m enjoying a good smoke without killing myself. Everything had a price, and this is certainly a price I wish every smoker would pay. I’m not being paid by Blu for saying this either. I gave away all of my smokes before I started Blu, just so I could see if it would really work as a substitute. I have NOT smoked even ONE cigarette since and have NO PLANS on returning to them in the future. All I can say is if you are a tru smoker,,,,,, TRY THIS PRODUCT!!! If you try it, you will most likely LOVE it!!!

    I’ve just got word that Blu is again shipping within days again. The bad starter packs have been weeded out and those customer’s who had purchased them in the past have now been sent their replacements. Feel free to treat Blu how they operated before the recall back in early October.

    I tried one and it was great but they are now taking over 6 weeks just to ship them and they wait till the last min to hit your bank acount if you use debit. horrible shipping time but great product.

    I love these. I have smoked a pack a day for over 20 years and never thought an electric cigarette would work for me. But after a few days I have quit buying regular cigarettes. I love that my mouth doesnt taste like a cigarette all the time. I would recommend to anyone.

    All my friends like Blu so I thought I would give them a try. I was really surprised that it tasted just like I was smoking a tobacco cigarette. I bought more that very day.     I like that I can charge my e-cig while I’m sleeping at night. I tried another brand and had a few occassions where my battery died and I didn’t have a way to charge my e-cig. Now I just grab the charger during the day and charge it at night if I need to.

    I live where we have very long, cold winters. Every break I spent out smoking and freezing. Since I was turned on to Blu Electronic Cigarettes, I can stay in and stay warm. I really like the different flavors and the fact that I can get smaller amounts of nicotine in my Blu in case I ever decide to quit.

    My favorite thing about Blu cigarettes is that I don’t have to always get a lot of nicotine. I can get Blu in lower levels or even no nicotine at all if I wanted. I can wean myself off nicotine; at least I hope I can. I have tried to quit before but maybe this time I will make it with Blu.

    When my state banned smoking in all public places, I was really mad. Now I have the last laugh. I walk anywhere I want thanks to my Blu cigarettes. I can play pool and smoke a Blu and not get kicked out of the bar. Needless to say, I am a lot happier now than before.

    I have smoked Clove cigarettes since I started college. I just prefer the taste to the regular tobacco flavor. I tried the Vivid Vanilla and the Cherry Crush. The only problem is that I don’t know which one I like more. So, I decided that I am just going to buy some of each so that I can switch when I want. I love these and recommend them to my friends all the time!

    Blu, you made my home life so much more peaceful. My wife was always nagging me to put my cigarettes out, quick flicking ashes and making a mess and to quick dropping the butts in the yard. Since I found Blu and use them at home, my wife is bored with nothing to nag at me about.

    I don’t like to smoke in front of my kids. I don’t like to subject them to secondhand smoke and they hate the smell. I tried these hoping that they wouldn’t have to quit smoking all together. Now I can smoke in the house and the car without feeling guilty!

    There is nothing better in my opinion than drinking my coffee and having my smoke on the way to work in the car. I have a long commute so I am usually in the car for an hour every morning. The only thing I hate about my smoking habit is the smell of my clothes. When I read about Blu E-Cigarettes, I heard that they had a flavor called Java Jolt. I LOVE IT!! I have it wiht my coffee on the way to work and I don’t smell like an ashtray when I get there. Awesome!!

    I heard a lot about Blu from my smoking friends so I decided to try them for myself. I bought a pack of Java Jolt only to be a bit disappointed. I am used to flicking ashes and smashing out butts so it’s a pretty dramatic change. I admit the flavor was fine but I am just not sure that an electric cigarette is right for me.

    I’ve tried everything to quit smoking. I know this sounds gross but I even tried chewing tobacco I was so desperate to quit. I found out that Blu offers electronic cigarettes with very low nicotine. I tried it and within a few months, I moved on to the nicotine free Blu. I still smoke them to cure my cravings but I don’t feel as bad because I’m not getting all of those extra chemicals any more.
