In fact, a famous 2015 study published by Public Health England (England’s governmental health agency) found that vaping is “at least 95% safer than cigarettes.” This finding has since been corroborated by many other researchers that have observed very similar figures. For instance, a study performed by Dr. Robert Cranfield found that vaping was around 96% safer than smoking.
Even more impressive, a study from last year published in the Journal of Aerosol Science found that the Excess Lifetime Cancer Risk of vapers is around 57,000 times lower than a cigarette smoker. Findings like these make it clear that vaping is hands down safer than smoking. But unfortunately, not enough people seem to understand this, with polls finding that only around 13% of the general public see vaping as much less harmful. What’s more discouraging is that the same polls find approximately 26% of people think that vaping is at least as dangerous, if not more dangerous, than combustible cigarettes. It’s clear that more needs to be done to convince individuals that vaping is a clear-cut safer choice.
Vaping Is A Lot Cheaper Than Smoking
The price of cigarettes is continuing to skyrocket no matter where you live. But especially for those living in highly taxed states like New York, holding onto your smoking habit can be costly to more than just your health. Other countries, such as Australia are even considering taxes that could make a pack of cigarettes cost upwards of 40 dollars! What’s surprising is just how few smokers actually understand that vaping is a lot cheaper.

Most every brand of e-liquid now offers their flavors in several different nicotine strengths; including none at all. Vaping Is Less Addictive Than Smoking
Many smokers believe that it’s the nicotine in cigarettes that makes them so addictive. VG is made from vegetables and is a thick liquid that is mixed with PG to create an optimal viscosity. By itself, it’s often used as a sweetener or preservative.

It’s not uncommon for new vapers to take a few hours or days to adjust to the change.
