I have always been a fan of the Safe cig since they came out. They carry traditional flavors and keep to their word with the products they sell. With the new micro coming out im excited to see how they perform! Overall Great product.
Well I have to update again, I have had a big disappointment with safecig and decided to use a different company. The reason for this decision is two fold. I ordered 3 boxes of refill cartridges my account was debited on 5/24 and I did not receive the cartridges until 6/4 way too long and I never got a good explanation of the delay and worse yet I could only communicate via email as there is no one to talk to unless you are placing an order. So despite the fact that the product is good and easily replaces actual cigarettes I have decided to go with the V2 the price is better with more options they also offer a lifetime warranty on the battery and have 3 types of battery lengths as well as a manual or an automatic option not to mention the choices of cartridges. So goodbye safecig you lost me as a customer
I had to update my first two reviews since my first purchase of Safecig until now. Well the Safecig has completely replaced traditional cigarettes for me part of the initial battle was just to stop buying traditional cigarettes which I have overcome with very little effort. I love the Safecig, the batteries last all day and since I purchased the kit with 2 batteries I always have a battery that is fully charged. The refill cartridges last longer than I expected. I dont know where some of the other complaints come from that the cartriges dont last long but for me they do. The customer service has also been fantastic. I purchased a case which would not stay closed I sent an email to the company and within 3 days I had a new one at my door and I did not even have to send the old one back. The only negative comment I would have would be that the 24mg cartriges are just too strong and burn my throat but that just goes with personal preference and now that I have switched to the 18mg refill cartridges I am completely satisfied and it is also easy to tell when the cartridge is running low or even empty. I am so happy I went with this brand as opposed to some of the higher priced brands or a cheap knockoff. This company truly stands behing all of their products and I would recommend them over and over.
I had been highly skeptical of these products until a friend basically forced me to try hers. I absolutely couldn’t believe how similar it was to actually smoking. Taste, feeling, vapor, it’s just amazing. it’s so enjoyable that I started smoking a little more than I used to. Their shipping is fast, battery is dependable and their customer service is excellent. I have tried 8 different brands of Ecig. All tasted terribly sweet. There were two that I liked. Smoke 99 and Smoking Stick. After buying the kits I started finding it impossible to order cartridges from them or to get them to answer their phone. I gave up and ordered a Safe Cig. Received it today and it is wonderful. Well I purchased the Safecig starter prokit on mothers day and being a 2-3 pack a day smoker I was skeptical but I have to say I am no longer a skeptic I have not smoked an actual cigarette in 4 days. The ease of draw the taste the way it feels when you inhale truly is as real as it gets. The price is also awesome considering some starter kits can cost over 100$. I am still on my first cartridge so definately lasts a long time and I would recommend this product to any smoker ready to give up on the high cost and health hazards to smoking actual cigarettes. I would say go for it. This product will save you money and eliminate the mess of actual smoking.

Just received our safe cig and my boyfriend is completely happy with it. At first when i ordered it he was skeptical over it but promised he would try. Man was he ever in love with it when it came in. He couldn’t get over how it actually felt like a real smoke. He said it hit his throat pretty good which i guess is something smokers really like. I’ve been smoking 2 packs a day for about 40 years. I just found out that I have emphasema so I need to quit smoking. I tried patches, gum, hypnosis, cutting down, and going cold turkey a number of times but I couldn’t quit. I’ve only been “smoking” the e-cigs for a few days and reduced my real smoking to 1 pack a day. I know it’s still too much but I think that eventually I’ll stop smoking real cigs in time because I don’t miss the 2nd pack/day right now and having the open pack sitting in front of me all the time doesn’t help, but I’m taking baby steps.
Before I purchased SafeCig, I did a comparison of the cost, warranty, customer service, delivery time, throat hit, # of packs per cartridge and cost of the starter kit/batteries/chargers/refill packages/batteries in order to get the best deal and bang for my buck and the best e-cig. I compared SafeCig, SmokeTip, GreenSmoke, South Beach Smokes, E-Cigarette, E-Smoke, V2 and Blu. SafeCig won out in all categories in my comparison, especially in speed of shipment, customer service, warranty and cost. I also like the fact that I don’t have to worry about over-charging the battery because, unlike the others, the charger stops when the battery is fully charged.
I’m a menthol smoker so the taste of menthol was important to me but it seems that the menthol flavor in all brands was poor, so I had no delusions of what I might be getting but I took a star off anyway (maybe it’ll get them to try to improve the flavor). The menthol flavor of e-cigs is nothing like the flavor of menthol cigs but it’s better than no flavor at all. I never liked plain tobacco. The throat hit is very good and I think the vapor production is probably very good compared to other e-cigs but it’s nothing near a real cig but, then again, I wasn’t expecting it to be. I do like seeing “smoke” coming out of my mouth when I blow it out.
I’m glad I did my homework before I ordered one of the more “popular” brands because I’m very satisfied with SafeCig.
I quit smoking regular tobacco cigs after 2 days of smoking my SafeCig. I didn’t think I could. I am 53 yrs old and smoking approximately 40 yrs! Yes, addicted from my teenage years and could not get off it since though I have tried many times. This SafeCig really amazed me. I started with safecig one week ago and am so thrilled with it I can’t even begin to explain. I have smoked a pack a day for over 25 years and I have not even craved a cig since I picked up the safecig. It gives me everything a real cig did and more. The vapor and throat hit is amazing. I ordered a V2 cig about 6 weeks ago and it finally arrived about 2 weeks ago. The box appeared to have been already opened and it looked like someone elses return. When I tried to use it none of the batteries would work and I ended up returning the kit. My friend also told me that V2 refills take about 5 to 8 weeks to arrive because the company is bankrupt. After much research I narrowed the many choices to 2. White Cloud and SAFECIG. I chose SAFECIG. The reason I am doing this is because of my original aprehension due to reading these reviews. I thought I may ease a few minds. According to a few reviews, people had indicated that it took way to long for product to be shipped. Starting with the product. The product is all the company claims. My only negative comment is that I think the cartridges should last a little longer. Other than that, all is AWESOME. As far as the shipping time. I ordered the kit on 03/17/11, and received it on 03/19/11. I then (due to the other complaints) ordered 2 boxes of 5 cartridges on 03/20/11 and they came today 03/23/11. Today is 7 weeks since I have had a ‘real’ cigarette. I can not express how happy I am with the Safe Cig! I used to smoke at least 10 menthol cigarettes a day, but since I got the Safe Cig, I have only craved a ‘real’ cigarette once and that was during the first week. I just received my SafeCig starter kit deluxe in the mail yesterday and although I was a little dissatified because it took a little longer for me to get it than the shipping terms stated. Overall I am blown away by the realness of it. The draw is great and I feel like I am truly smoking a real cigarette outside of the weight of it, but I can live with that. I know this will help my marriage and my wallet because I am or was up to 3 packs of cigarettes a day. My wife would complain about the smell the ashes and nastiness of it all. I stumbled upon e-cigs in the mall at a kiosk for Fifty-One Trio’s. My husband talked me into purchasing a starting kit and, $130 later, I began my journey. I only wish I had found the ECR website BEFORE spending such an outrageous amount on a below-average product. I went thru 10 carts in a little over a week. Thankfully, I did come across this site and placed an order with Safe Cig before I was completely out of my 51′s. I’m so impressed with the Safe Cig. And quite surprised. This thing rocks!!! My friend had one in his dorm and I asked what it was and he told me it was an electronic cigarette made by The Safe Cig. After looking around I found this site and the 5% off coupon, which was the highest I could find, and purchased the Deluxe kit. It is awesome, haven’t had a cigarette in weeks now and I don’t have to go up and down the dorm stairs anymore.
I recommend this to anyone, especially those in colleges where you can’t smoke. I did notice though that their customer support was great between 6am and 7pm pacific time, but it could use a little improvement outside of those hours and the live chat will be great once it is available.
The Safe Cig is a Safe Bet when you are looking for an electronic cigarette. I wasn’t sure what I needed and how much I needed, so I called their number and they helped me out and didn’t oversell me. I am really happy with it and glad I got two batteries, but I may end up getting another just to be sure I am prepared on long multiple day trips without having to remember to charge it.

Tried GS, another brand and a Joye 510 before Safe Cig. Issues faced were battery quality (they keep malfunctioning), charging of batteries (some have to be removed after it is fully charged), consistency of taste and vapour(especially those that are not 2-piece kits). Tried Safe Cig after readng the reviews, and not a single issue with them. Battery quality is great (although one died on me and Safe Cig shipped one out immediately to replace), you can leave it in the charger (won’t kill it), and the taste and vapour are reliably consistent(one example – as opposed to other brands which go bad gradually, Safe Cig ones taper off very quickly at the end of its use – a good thing mind you). Only wondering why it fell off the rankings in this website (as at Feb 12, 2011). Strange. I have found the perfect e-cig with Safe Cig. Good thing coz I live in Asia and it isn’t cheap to keep hunting…
